I agree with Tyler about the survey and port we expand out that way it may help with unemployed since it will get people working on developing that area and we could also look at the titanium mine as wellmif needed.

Wolf gave some sound advice before we set up the factory lets get the training facilities and improve our military education sorted before we build a mech factory.

[X]The Slow Climb
-[X]Military
--[X]Expand Military Academy - Advanced Tactical Training Annex; this is absolutely necessary for the creation of our future Mech force, and the sooner we get people trained, the better. Basically, we're ideally training tomorrow's instructors here.
--[X]Develop Hawk ASF - call me paranoid, but the best way to make sure the advances we've made since the original attack can be preserved is to destroy enemy incursions before they even set foot on Griffins Roost. Expanding and improving our ASF-force is crucial in this regard
--[X]Develop Starhound Utility Recon Shuttle - we'll need a work horse to bring all those recon and defense sats into orbit, and to expand and maintain the future orbital infrastructure.
-[X]Interior
--[X]Comprehensive Survey of the twin continents of Castor/Pollux - we need to know what's out there, both with regards to ressources and to find out if there are more hidden installations we haven't known of yet.
--[X]Write-In: Capricorn expansion - before we move on to expand into Castor and Pollux, it'd make sense to comb over every rock and fallen tree on Capricorn first. There are bound to be more deposits that can be used to boost our industries, both civilian and advanced, and the jungles certainly will hold one or more secrets still. Economically, it may also make sense to establish a port city on the eastern coast to shorten transportation times.
---[X]Additional Mineral and Scientific Surveys of Capricorn
---[X]Scout for Eastern Port location
-[X]Research
--[X]Infantry Support Weapons lvl 1 - the bulk of our forces are still infantry, whether on foot or motorized. We owe it these brave souls to give them as much bang for the buck as we can.
--[X]Power Generation lvl 1 - getting into fusion generation and other technologies has the possibility to seriously improve logistics
--[X]Aerodyne Dropships (small) - the next logical step to expand beyond the atmosphere, building on the foudnations gained with the
Starhound Utility Recon Shuttle

[x] Plan: Vital Investments

Culsu's plan is currently missing a research action. The idea of scouting Capricorn is fine, but I'm not sure it's three action to do so; and I'm guessing it'd probably require our survey team (currently looking at Castor/Pollux in both current plans) to do. Vital Investments doesn't do quite as much as I'd do in a plan, but does include the needed basics.

Chaerona, recruiting the complex team has to be done before we can start training it, and it secretly will take more than one action (or train the garrison and take that action)

@Culsu We have four Military actions available per turn, as listed on the right-hand side of the Polity Overview on the spreadsheet. Could you add Recruit Complex Entry Team to the Military options for your plan so we can train them up next turn? It only costs an extra 50 and you have the extra option available for it.

Also, found an action in interior that seems to do basically what you want regarding Eastern port (following discord, will probably be interpreted as doing that) - it includes a +25% GDP boost and is 1 turn; this turn we lose any GDP growth from actions. Might want to hold off until next turn?

The fluff from the action seems to say we know where good locations to build on the coast are already.

QM note, I like seeing write-ins, but I do reserve the right to interpret them in regards to actions that I've got queued up on my end. To that end, as Jarow already mentioned there already is an action available for expanding colonization on Capricorn.

In order to produce either the Hawk or the Starhound would require additional Interior actions for the production lines.

Capricorn's coastal regions are well surveyed, there's an upcoming action to conduct another interior river recon using the new River Monitor Mk 2 that is in the upcoming queue.

EDIT - Oh yes, and this turn any action that completes this turn and has an effect of raising GDP on a one-time basis (like expanding settlements on Capricorn) will have no economic effect due to the Black Friday debuff.

[X] Boosting Basics and Flying High
-[X]Military
--[X]Expand Military Academy - Advanced Tactical Training Annex (5000)
--[X]Develop Wulfen heavy IFV (250)
--[X]Purchase Military Units - 1 flight Roc aerospace fighters (2480)
--[X] Recruit Complex Entrance Team (50)
-[X]Interior
--[X]Comprehensive Survey of the twin continents of Castor/Pollux (500)
--[X]Planetary Resource Survey (100)
--[X]Construct Space Station (5000) Gives +25% GDP but takes 2 turns so the increase will occur next turn and not be blocked by Black Friday. Also gives bonus to all orbital research and makes DropShip research cheaper.
-[X]Diplomatic
--[X]Promote Hovercraft Racing League as being more exciting than any drug (1000)
-[X]Research
--[X]Infantry Support Weapons lvl 1 (50).
--[X]Power Generation lvl 1 (1000)
--[X]Improved Agriculture 1 (500)

Cost: 15 930

Purchasing some Roc heavy ASFs to give our aerospace forces some more punch against DropShips in case Kurita comes calling.

Designing the Wulfen heavy IFV as some people last turn were asking for the Rapid Response Force to be assigned some jump infantry to support them, and they will need fast transports so they can keep up. I'm not assigning an Interior action to build their construction line as well this turn because I want to get our surveys going ASAP so they can be completed ASAP, and so we can get the GDP bonus from the space station at the end of next turn after the Black Friday debuff has worn off. Also the Planetary Resource Survey does not give us a GDP boost but opens up other actions that hopefully will do so once the Black Friday debuff has worn off.

Alright, since that negates pretty much 50% of my plan I withdraw it.

I've looked at the plans and noticed some gaps in both. We seem to have forgotten our economy is in a recession and we're still recovering from a major illness outbreak, for example. Let's not worry about space stations until after we get on our feet a bit more, we still have a lot of things going on.
