Any wage increase we've gotten has been destroyed by inflation and then some! As for the percentage of inflation reported of 6.8%...that's a joke. Real estimates of inflation that don't throw out random things like gas from the calculations puts inflation at something like 14%. That hurts, it hurts a lot.

Additionally, actions like sit-ins which block logistical arteries invite violence as tempers fray, thus allowing for them to manufacture scenes of 'pacifists' being attacked. going to have to really disagree with you on this and people who actually understand how the far left actually works in south america will chime in to agree.

The far left in south america has always been nuts, they have always been prone to violence 'see shining path' they dont need an excuse to act like murderous psychopaths because that is who they are and what they do. Pinochet and others saw the writing on the bloodshoaked wall. The then el presidente was fully intent on turning his country into what venusuala looks like today.

They understood that he was nuts and crazy and was going to kill a fuck ton of people and then after wards left wing assholes would say it 'wasn't real socialism' after it ends in disaster. So the coup happened and Pincohet did all of the horrible ugly things you have to do when your dealing with unreasonable psychopathic assholes doing to them what socialists do to litterally every one else.
