    @Stargazer @Zachowon @The Whispering Monk Hung Cao (R) officially launching his campaign for the United States Senate in 2024 against incumbent United States Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA). How do you rate Cao's chances ?

    I should note Kaine is (5-0) in statewide elections inside the Old Dominion:
    2001: VA Lieutenant Governor (Won)
    2005: VA Governor (Won)
    2012: VA United States Senator (Won)
    2016: VP Dem Nominee (Won)
    2018: VA United States Senator (Won)

    50-50, Kaine has a good record of consistent wins but he is running in a bad season for Democrats, even Democrats that have openly cheated in elections lost. Hell the Governor for Arizona openly cheated in her election and just barely won.

    Mitch McConnel freezes up for like 30 seconds and gets lead away from the podium. Absent Seizure or did he stare into the abyss too deeply? hopefully he lives and retires to be with his grandkids for his last few years.

    Along with other things, people who love trump can hate mitch for backstabbing and fighting trump, whilst people who hate trump can hate mitch for defending and supporting trump. Mitch is a man straddling a fence so hard his dick fell off and all his shit was forced up into his brain.

    I take a more balanced view of the man.

    I think that he was a good leader for a time, but the left has lost its fucking mind and the right needs a leadership that accepts the new paradime. The world changed and we need a different style of leadership that aknowleges the much uglier reality we live in. Mitch just isn't that guy.

    He needs to step down and let people who can and will fight take over.

    The other universally hateable thing about McConnell is that he's a smug, slimy SOB who pretends to be incredibly principled while stabbing everyone in the back. He'll make vague, high-minded-sounding references as a justification for doing something, then make similar references to the exact same supposed principle as a justification for doing the exact opposite later on.

    Yeah as someone who lives in Tennessee she ain't getting rid of Blackburn. Blackburn actually responds to people here and pushes what people ask of her. Hell I asked her about what she was planning to do to help steer youth away from Abortion and she has a pretty decent Idea on how to do it, starting with baby boxes of course.

    I am pretty sure that the paperwork is more extensive than that.
    Genicologists and midwives have to register all births, at least where I am.
