They were actively sabotaged by the party and any ways the movements in it's infancy still. And MAGA candidates did horrible
No, some were just bad picks, like we saw in the Georgia run-off.They were actively sabotaged by the party and any ways the movements in it's infancy still.

I’d say it’s a combinationNo, some were just bad picks, like we saw in the Georgia run-off.
Also, Trump has an issue picking anyone who is still willing to flatter him, rather than based on actual electoral chances in their district.
The dems were intentionally propping up bad candidates to get them through the Primaries, in the hopes that they'd lose the general, and it actually worked decently well.I’d say it’s a combination
But they really did prop up bad primary candidates that went on to lose. Right wing news was going wild over how much money dems were putting into GOP candidates. This was a tactic that they were openly employing, that worked. We don't get to pretend it didn't happen.I dunno.
I'd put more of the blame on the blatant voter fraud they refuse to investigate plus the blatant corruption.
Remember all that aid money sent to Ukraine that got put into crypto that then got sent to democrat campaigns? And the guy that got arrested for it and for crashing the crypto market that has kinda vanished from the news?
So, in short, you don't think they were actually bad candidates. Or at least not bad enough that they could have legitimately lost the general election.I'm just saying it would have backfired on them as bad as backing Trump did except they seem to have learned from that and figured out how to "fortify" the elections better than in 2016.

Eh... there's no way to know. So, in short, you don't think they were actually bad candidates. Or at least not bad enough that they could have legitimately lost the general election.
the republican party is adapting and learning, this is a marathon not a sprint.
Eh... there's no way to know.
At this point I am firmly convinced that our election system is broken. We should have mandatory audits of every election and voter Ids and whatever else that could ensure their legitimacy. But the people in charge want our elections to be as insecure as possible and try to prevent any questioning at all. Looks corrupt as hell.
That doesn't mean that some candidates weren't actually terrible. Dr. Oz being a good example.
But there's know way to know if they would have lost legitimately or not.
Certainly less of them would have lost. That's for damn sure.
I dunno. Unless we can finally get rid of the corrupt Republican leadership, I don't really see any gains mattering.
Many of the losses were from the leadership refusing to fight against potential fraud or playing games behind the scenes with funding and support.
The establishment on both sides is bad. Democrats are just more open with their insane evil and corruption.
Here's hoping. The republican establishment has already had a partial purge and its only going to purge more people with time.
I wouldn't expect the old guard to get thrown out in every state, but nationally their star is pretty clearly fading. Here's hoping.
Having looked at the comments: It amuses me how one of them complained about the Right not letting this go, when the Corporate Press bleated nonstop about Trump having a surprise physical once or holding the rail tightly as he descended some steps. Not to mention how Biden literally gaffed about having cancer last year, so...
Eh. I have some. Having seen what cancer does to a person I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. After what he did to our consitutional rights I have zero pity.

…then again, I’m the sort of person who’d rather just shoot my enemy than torture them to death.
