I don't necessarily buy the reasons listed in your quoted posts, but china releasing it and locking down Wuhan, but letting it spread to the rest of the world intentionally, just so it fucks up their economies too, is entirely plausible for China to pull off. Even if it was accidentally leaked from the lab at first. Those bastards locked down Wuhan from the rest of china and then let people out to go spread around the world.
