They are Allie’s of convenience and nothing more. The problem is that I have little trust in people to remember that. Or for their nonsense to start infecting our side.
For example: think of how much the MSM pushed the ‘Trump is a Nazi narrative’. That caused a lot of neo-Nazis (and it seems a few Feds pretending to be as such) to start popping up in the MAGA movement that had to be constantly fought off.

Your paranoia is a weakness. If you want to win a cultural war, you need to be able to shift public opinion.
Of course, I suspect you don't want to really win it as much as you want to fight it. In which case? Do as you will, I frankly don't give a damn.
But allies nevertheless. And unless you want to be relegated to the dustbin of history, you'll need allies.

I somehow doubt they match the electoral map just posted for some reason, but we're warriors all (even if many of us aren't White Men who are known to be the most violent of all groupings). The ones we really loathe though are folks who are exactly halfway into Deep Ecology.

There's a difference between inclusive and "woke". It's hard to draw an exact line, but inclusive is a good thing... woke is negative.
To me, something becomes when "woke" when the diversity and inclusion because the most important aspect, at the expense of everything else, story, characters, etc. It's a work isn't trying to be just be a good work on its own merits, it's trying to pander and gain attention through sheer virtue signaling. Or, it's when the desire to be diverse and inclusive becomes distracting and doesn't fit with the work and it is done so regardless to hit some kind of quota or some such.
Diversity and inclusion is great! Have it fit with the story. I'm a wannabe writer, i'll never finish anything, but whatever. I try to ensure some diversity and inclusion in my characters, where it makes sense. I also don't like to make a big deal about it. In one of my stories, I have a character who is a trans woman, although people might not ever actually know that. I'm just writing her as a woman. She doesn't go around with a "TRANS" patch on her chest to let everyone know she's trans. Her personality is deeper than talking about how trans she is. I'm not sure there's ever going to be a point in the narrative where it's at all relevant to bring it up. If there IS a point, then yes but otherwise... she's just a woman. No particular reason to have a flashing billboard over her.
I have a few gay characters here and there. Sometimes more apparent than others. I shy away from romance stuff as a whole so there's not much going on there. One of them is a single guy and I have no plans on any sort of romance plot. So... he's gay, but again he doesn't walk around screaming "I'M GAY!" at everyone. He just is.
I catch myself doing stupid things though. Sometimes i'll look at my characters and think "Whelp, I made a bunch of white people". I'll actively consider how I can diversify. Sometimes I get what seems like a great idea, but then I think about it and i'm like "ooof wrong choice." I have one character who is essentially a post-apocalyptic pimp. Of course, I was like "Oh I can make him black!" I... didn't, and actually it led to a pretty cool change to that character and also to another.
