I look forward to the day when the automatic reflex to minority people in movies and other fiction is to leave the building and demand your money back. Fuck all this garbage.

I think that is a bit exaggerated.

Maybe is it me that I look Caucasian but I grew up between Italy and Brazil and in the second diversity was integral and part of our daily lives even before this shit started happening.

I am one who preferes quality over diversity and not being lectured.

Yeah, I find it stupid that some people will leave a movie theater if a character is of a different ethnicity. Like in the new batman movie, cat woman is black. it doesn't make me want to avoid it, for all I know it could potentially out perform NWH. It's just that alot of movies now'a'days try to force it in a way that's stupid and unattractive.

For instance, The Sequals in Star War's could have been good, but then it became garbage that's only saving graces were Finn and a few other side characters.

The new life action Snow White movie will have the titular character be played by a Latina. You know, Snow White... the woman with skin "as white as snow"? That Snow White.

And apparently Gal Gadot is supposed to be the evil queen/step mother. Which reminds me of the awful Kristen Steward movie where she was supposed to be more beautiful than Charlize Theron...

On a different note , since I am trying to do my own military fiction (which is fun but at the same frustatingly DIFFICULT since I don't intend to be a goddamn Martin and I am a civilian ) I have been looking both of the high seas of the net, Goodreads, Ebay, Abebooks and Amazon.

So far I have encountered a big trouble :

LOTS OF WHAT I HAVE BEEN SUGGESTED THROUGH SAID WEBSITES ARE EROTIC FICTIONS SET IN THE MILITARY ENVIROMENT!

And I don't have to tell of WHAT kind.

At least the first suggestions, meanwhile the others are multi-issue series (like trilogies, quadrilogies, pentalogies , hexalogies Heptalogies and more).

Then there is the classics like Heinlein, Haldeman, Clancy and so on.

It's annoying, I am sure there is a stand-alone that could be good but it's buried either by :

• Porno-erotic trash
• Infinite series that unless in audiobook format I will likely not even start
• Stuff I already know and read or both

Any tips ?
