"Woke" Franchises

USSR collapsed. You'd think that's a good thing, but:

1) leftists deeply resent that communism doesn't work, and that reality proves it, and;

2) it removed the certainty of a clearly defined world-order.
True.
Remember Bush Kiev chicken speech? entire american establishment tried to save soviets, and when it failed, they tried to turn kgbstan into soviets again.

Even now they would gave half ,or even entire Europe to Moscov,if Putin gave them chance.
Happily for us,comrade colonel decide to die for China on Ukraine, otherwise Poland would be arleady sell again by out great american allies.

Twitter thread by Mark Kern/Gummz on the Uglification of Women in games.

A lead artist named Del Walker (who seems fairly Leftist) whose worked for Respawn, Naughty Dog and other studios talked about how game designers are making the characters they design more and more ugly. One example he uses is of Black Women whom he says game designers intentionally want to make less attractive (and of course backtracks when GAMERGATE uses his tweets as fuels and says he's only talking about some Black women character designs).

Going to be honest, as the years go by I think many will come to the conclusion that changing a loyal customer base for shadowy investor funny money for the sake of “line go up” was a mistake. Haven’t we already heard rumbles that aforementioned funny money is running out, and that the shareholders of these investment firms aren’t exactly happy about their money being pissed away?

Allegedly, nothing has come from it so far. Unless the groups are claiming this is how they redistribute wealth.

Rumors always change to fit the biases of the spreaders. Wait till someone like CNN or MSNBC starts openly talking about the unpopularity of progressive media before you make your mind up.

The Boys Finale of Season 4 seems to be normal until the ending. There's less woke garbage than previous episodes but then when the finale happens you clearly see that it is an allusion too big to our current political climate.

And it was already "aged LIKE MILK" because of what happened to one of the candidates for this election in the USA.

Like "Civil War" by A24 made by Garland.

Discourse about that new LoTR anime is really interesting, isn't it? Right wing sites are only talking about Hera, and left wing sites are pretending she doesn't exist while giving that cautiously vague praise you always see before every "major project".

I didn't know it even existed until like fifteen minutes ago, when a YouTube ad popped up during my spree of watching dubbed manga videos. There's not much coverage about it going about, or am I just living under a rock?

Oddly enough, the female main character does exist. She's just unnamed and, presumably, dies at some point in the source material.

It's not directly stated, but all of her siblings and father die in the same event so...

Eh? Her being a badass is something I can see. Bunch of warrior brothers, a warrior father, I can see her picking up some shit.

It's kinda obscure, and the community hates how they sidelined Helm Hammerhand for some weird anime girl that feels like she came from an amateurish fanfic.

Very amateurish.
Well, anime is always gonna be anime.

I mean, look at the Terminator: Zero stuff going around.

I think, that she survived and become waifu of next Rohan King - but,i could be wrong.
But,i am fairly sure that she do not fight mumakils. One of reasons - their enemies do not have them.....

We don't know enough to say if she married Fréaláf Hildeson, tenth King of Rohan, and first King of the Second Line. We know that the rest of her family died during the war in combat with the Dunlandings. In context, I suspect that Fréaláf's wife may have been Gondorian given that Beren, Steward of Gondor was at Fréaláf's coronation, and there is precedent for a marriage between the House of Eorl. Éomer married Lothíriel, daughter of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth after the War of the Ring. His own grandmother, Morwen, Queen of Thengel, was of Numenorien descent, likely of the line of Prince Imrahil as well.

All that being said, a marriage between cousins of royal blood is not uncommon. Given that Fréaláf is the first of the Second Line of Kings he may marry Helm's unnamed daughter to strengthen his claim. I think the first is more likely, but it is still a possibility.

The entire book the anime takes inspiration from is obscure.

No really. It's in Appendix A of The Return of the King if I'm not mistaken. Page in and around 1040 in my edition.

You know, ten or fifteen years ago, I wouldn't have minded this at all. Before the proliferation of the Girl Boss tropes Action Women were dope as fuck. The Major. Trinity. The Bride. Jackie Brown. They're all good. Even if they're somewhat fabricated for an adapted story I didn't mind because they were well written and fit the story.

Now they're like toumors taking over the host story.

It's called inflation. The market is oversaturated because they're creating more supply than there is demand.

There's nothing special about a girl who can fight anymore.
