Honestly, I like how I’m not getting surrounded and gaslighted by those sorts of dudes on our sister sites
We have our Far Lefties from over there popping up here and I think they get really frustrated that we’re counterarguing them and not bending over to whatever emotional “facts” they say
You go to school, most of your teachers are some verson of left wing, every now and then a conservative pops up but their pretty rare, then you get to middle school and high school still pretty rare, but before all of this the schools had to put on some kind of breaks on the crazy train in order to maintain some semblance of order. The schools also had a lot less money and resouces and the parents who were involved tended to be a restraint on the schools.
Its left of center but there are some restrants on extremism for multiple reasons. Then you get to college, and your dealing with a much more extreme left, with this being the only type of jobs that litteral communists can hold. Because commies are in reality incredibly shitty team players. ( I know from experience)
If your a left wing person your views have pretty much never been challenged in your entire life, until that moment you exit school and enter the real world.
If you don't buy the party line congratulations you get to spend your formative years dealing with lots of people hostle to your views and if you go to college you get to experience an intellectual boot camp while surrounded by enemies.
What kind of experience creates people who are better at debate? Take the former out a zone that openly cheats on their behalf and the results are brutal.
