And if you are a person of color who dares to disagree with their world view. You become........ Satan.

Wait, they do that on our Sister Sites?

Anyway, I this thread's kinda slowing down, well we'll see new members in the future, even if it is pretty slow

Insane? How insane? Because outside politics and inserting it to their works, they’re pretty on topic

Unlike those shits on FFN who come up with lots of fanon

I'm not familiar with FFN, but probably not *that* insane. I guess the scifi- and fantasy related discussion is fine, but most things related to the real world get downhill pretty fast.

Give it time, sooner or later one of the crazies will commit a terrorist attack and kill some one.

Canada has much more stringent and scarier rules on the books then America does, and space battles is on a candean host. When that attack happens and it will the owner of the site will get a knock on the door, and then you will see a mass purge of the nut cases.

As for Sufficient velocity, its bizarre set up will see it reform itself slowly, because the people we bitch about cant get along with any one and alinate every one around them. SV will remain left wing but reform itself after things stop being crazy, and SB will reform itself all at once after some body fucks up big time.

Until then this is a pretty good place to hide out and try to wait out 2020 which is going to suck royally.

Only going by my past experiences on SB, don’t remember seeing ones that look like they plan on actually doing anything

They honestly sound/feel “innocent” and just angry at anyone they consider “right-wing” and maybe smug and sanctimonious and accusatory

But not the kind to actually take the initiative

I'd rather see TS become the replacement of SB and SV while they wallow in a pit of of misery of their own making.

Long-time old member of SB here. I joined back in an earlier, more free and innocent time. Lots of fun discussion of sci-fi and fantasy topics, with a bit of real-world stuff thrown in.
Then a few years back, the site started getting taken over by people who were pushing an agenda. And their main method of going about this seemed to be shouting down and bullying anyone who disagreed.

Then I got invited to join a Private Message group, which seemed to have turned into an ongoing virtual house-party. We could discuss things in there freely, argue for or against various ideas, without easily-offended people screaming at us that we were hurting their feelings. Because those people hadn't been invited. One or two of them did get in by mistake, but they didn't stay long.

Then the fact that we could chat freely in private became generally known to the busybodies, and they got all upset about it.

The result of their upsetness was that many of the people in the PM got banned from SB. So when someone decided to start a new site, there was a lot of support.

And so I registered here.

Dude we have actual admitted members of Antifa on SB. That is beyond just being angry. That is less terrorize people we don't like in RL.

Came from SB after I found out where the “evil nazis” migrated to. I’m know a little bit around SB so I stay in the VS forums and dable In the war room posting my historical vs forums every once and a while.

Honestly, I'm not even sure this where we "migrated" to, most of us are still active on SB. It's just another forum we're on.

I think it's not long until SB introduces the same rule as SV did, namely "Your behaviour on other forums will be used against you".

If that happens then SB posters will have to make a choice between mentally regimenting themselves to never do anything except SJW/cancel culture compliant activities on the whole internet... Or just leave the site and join us.

Or more likely, make their own site

Digital Wild West already existed before the Mass PM

Oh wait, the guy who made it was responsible for the Mass PM getting slandered in some bid to get us all there, right?

What are we doing wrong in your view that they wouldn’t join a professionally operated website owned by a company under US law with security protections and the ability to grow on demand with cloud infrastructure? It isn’t easy to create a serious webforum which can resist takedown attempts...

Takedown attempts? I thought it was relatively easy to create a forum

Also, our growth is snail pace and inconsistent, I bet lots of people will barely even remember TheSietch exists in a few months
