Whys your name orange?
I played with the user name color palette under account settings. I was going to go for purple, but that was too dark against the blackish background for user name and photos. So orange won out.
because orange man bad is the best icecream flavor ever fight me.

@Darth Robbhi has been brought onboard as the third Super Mod, & User settings were not set properly. They should be good now.
I'm playing with things to learn the system, since it's a different-enough posting system than other boards I am used to to cause confusion at first. I found it by accident.
I promise to only go reasonably mad with power from now on. Can we have a hot pink name color?
I join all the splinter forums that are born from SB. It is difficult to say how this one will turn out, since most forums have some sort of stupidity in their genetics when they start up that they have to grow past, and you can't predict what they will turn into from those initial flailings.
For the Sietch, I think some of that was the sub-forum apparently dedicated to the owner posting frothing political screeds and or polemics. This was a mistake. I recognise the DNA of it, and the influence of SD.net in the form of an alt-profile, and in the users posting style, which meant it wasn't a surprise to see who it was.
This was all poorly handled, and it reveals the challenge, in my opinion, that the Sietch needs to overcome if it wants to be a sustainable community. It should move away as swiftly as possible in defining itself as a contrast with SB or SV, or in opposition to it, or just defiantly doing things relative to those places.
Be a community, and let that speak for itself, for better or worse, in the experiences of its members, even if they joined just to shitpost and provoke, and are sitting on a discord, web forum or PM trying to figure out who everyone is or was.
Competing in a free market might be one way to look at it.

For some reason, I felt like that if the term "mod" was removed that this would be referring to me as I've had several users dismiss me based on my user name, which is funny because my name is too punny for their dismissal to properly work. Not that they were ever valid anyway. Which also makes me laugh as I switched to this username as I wanted to avoid having naming fallacies used against me xD
As for why I came here... I was surprised to find Mith perma'd on SB so I looked through his posts to see if I could find an origin point, instead, I found his glorious rants in the Thunder Cats Roar! thread and found a link here, so I thought I'd give it a go and such to see if it was better than the other alternatives to SB. So far, seems so. Alas, patience is needed before determining a final opinion.

That honestly blew my mind. How can you actually have a frank and adult discussion with someone who, as the parlance goes, gets triggered at someone's choice in user name. I'm honestly surprised it took two weeks, I'd have figured it'd be a month or two. I'm still waiting to see when they've purged the rest of the "undesirables" and start turning on each other. It always happens with far left individuals and while SB is probably not quite there, it's heading there.

Typically, I've always just put such people on ignore as if you stoop that low in terms of insulting behaviour then it is pretty clear you are not worth listening to on a fundamental level as using a username as a means to ignore their points is utterly pathetic, which typically comes out as ironic as the people in question like to frequently call X childish and pathetic yet they do the very thing they so frequently call out.
Mmmm, it would be interesting to see, but I can't help but feel that as long as something keeps their focus, that won't happen. Hell, I'd even put money on something being made up by the mods just to prevent a second sundering or whatever term is most appropriate.

SJW's describes a real thing and phenomenon, its a self righteous asshole who uses left wing politics as an excuse to be an asshole. Litterally every one has met them.
Incels are also real their people who cant get laid and end up going into a self loathing spiral.
SJW's need a reminder to not be an asshole to every one that disagrees with them and incels need therapy.

Surprisingly enough, last I checked, his Nazi characters in his Stargate/Dresden Files fic weren't really that horrible 24/7 in behaviour.

Also, the last's sheer stupidity and unnecessary corrupt business practices and stupidly cheap and hazardous work environments and poor treatment of employees are happily accepted
