From what has been coming out seems his Son-in-Law was doing a lot of shit. Pushing his campaign to pander the black vote, going insane over COVID in March fully buying into the hysteria after failing to notice the signs for months, Israel bootlicking and pandering, blocking Trump from going to Gab and more.
Recently Jared and Ivanka left the Florida estate and moved away. Apparently Trump blames Jared for being too RINO in the campaign and the straw that broke the camel's back was Jared telling Trump to drop the "conspiracy theory" of the steal. He refused and they parted ways. The officially parted ways in June 23rd, which means it was being planned at least a month before. Now line that up with Trump's schedule.
There is some solid evidence that the shooter was [REDACTED], a USSS member for Mike Pence's security detail. You can find it looking on some twitter threads and the evidence is compelling. Not going to directly name the guy because I don't know the people in charge and if that might spook mods and admins.

We stand a better chance of changing things as civies than as enlisted and officers, and it's hilarious you think otherwise. Civies do not have to operate under the same political/legal constraints military members do, when it comes to politics, and have the ability to up and quit or up and move if we must, without getting AWOL charges thrown on.
We stand a better chance of changing things for the better in the US by trying to survive and deal with local politics, than by becoming fodder.
And really, most civies expect a war with China to go nuclear and end in MAD.
Thus, many of civies are not interested in lining up to be of the front lines of a war with no winners, instead of enjoying life in the now and maybe getting a bomb shelter prepped if they think they can survive MAD.
You can poo-poo this stuff all you want, but public perception matters, particularly for recruitment and funding.
