As a general rule of thumb, any leftist source about any political issue is at a minimum engaging in heavy spin, more likely engaging in lying by omission, and possibly just flat-out fabricating things.
Right-leaning sources are not always trustworthy.
Left-leaning sources are almost never trustworthy, going all the way back to Walter Cronkite and his deliberate attempts to make the US lose the Vietnam War.
