They've outright said that they were playing it off with this idea that they were moderating, to lull Isreal into a false sense of security.

I'm not too surprised Sidney Powell pled. As the lawyer, she's more likely to be guilty than Trump, IMO, as she didn't strike me as competent, and the lawyer actually does stuff. I'd be very surprised if she got convicted by a jury though.

Naw. That was Chesebro and Powell rolling the dice and hoping that Fani Willis wasn't prepared for trial.
Her reply of "How about Oct 23rd for everyone? Does that work for all 19 of you? Because it certainly works for us." wasn't something the defense attorneys expected.
Once sanity is restored Fanni Willis needs to be tried for sedition for this shit.

I hope you do realize that the most recent three are former Trump lawyers who have plead guilty to crimes and have agreed to testify against him.
Attorney-client privilege has been legally breached in this case.

Which doesn't mean they're actually guilty of those crimes, or that their "testimony" against Trump isn't going to be lies. Remember; they did the same thing when they spent years accusing him of colluding with Russia. Throw a bunch of bullhonky charges at people associated with Trump, threaten to ruin their lives; only to promise them that it'll all go away if they give false testimony against him.
