To get the case assigned to a different Judge Trump's lawyers need to convince the Court that she's not going to be impartial.
From where I'm sitting they don't appear to be attempting to do that.

Motions are matters of record. With the sheer number of people watching this case Trump's lawyers filing one will promptly make the news.
IIRC, the gag order covers discovery. i.e.: Trump and his lawyers can't go talk to the press about the evidence the prosecution hands over.

That's one of 161 acts laid out, that form a comprehensive narrative. Individual acts are not necessarily themselves illegal, or even evidence of wrongdoing. For an exaggerated example, a case could lay out across several acts that a group had conspired to kill someone, and the choice of if/when was made one person's, with the answer to be conveyed by wearing a specific coloured shirt, and then one act would simply be that on this date at this location, defendant was seen wearing a red shirt. It would be idiotic to snip that out from the rest and make some big song and dance about how wearing a red shirt isn't illegal. In the same way, it's equally idiotic to view this one specific act in isolation and without context.
