Because we have multiple congresscritters that don't know how to keep thier mouths shut.

It is possible, but in order for that to happen though, takes time, and can not be done over night, as well as a complete restructuring would take decades.
It would basically revolve and giving it to the DIA, and spreading out the assets to tje NSA, DIA mainly.
It would be something possible, but could also lead to the burning of thousands of assets, and potentially the exposer of a multitude of methods.

It seems like you would like the problems to be fixed too, but understand how hard it is to make the necessary changes happen.

Oh FFS, not this shit again. The origin of this claim was a crank writer for the LA Times who was no-shit snookered by a KGB disinformation plot (yes, the KGB as this was the 1980s). Sure, they knew it was bullshit, but between the aftermath of the Church & Pike Committee hearings in the 1970s, it was the sort of thing that was tailor-made for conspiracy theorists.

Not that the CIA doesn’t do shady things, but this was actually something they get unfairly blamed for.

Trump is only in 'legal jeopordary' specifically because the US intel agencies have become so corrupt and abusive in their power and have so many friends like the Clinton's, Epstein, and Obama, and I say this as someone who voted for Obama twice.

So yes, the excesses of the intel agencies is directly tied to Trump's current issues.

Trump is in legal jeopardy because he is a complete fucking dumbass and his own worst enemy. Even Hillary had enough sense to destroy all evidence of her malfeasance. Trump not only allowed himself to be recorded admitting he possessed sensitive material and admitted he didn’t declassify it. Then doubled down by trying to have his lawyers do the dirty work of disposing of any incriminating evidence for him, and when they didn’t, just held onto the evidence.

Now, as far as the bureaucracy trying to undermine him? Yeah, that’s been an issue since Reagan was president. Trump made all sorts of declarations that he was going to do it…and never did any prep work or explored possible avenues of how to thwart the bureaucracy in turn. And even when people did try to give Trump good advice, he ignored them (case in point: several advisors warned him he needed to fire Comey ASAP. Trump ignored them, thinking he could control Comey. Oops).

I want pretty much every federal law enforcement agency disbanded, or broken up with their powers devolved down to the state level with the various state legislatures providing oversight, and many of the agents brought up on charges.

The intel agencies need to be completely purged, reworked, every single last sin brought into the sun so they can be judged by the American citizenry and the thugs in suits need to be publicly punished and chastised.

The “intelligence community” is the single greatest threat to the American people, alongside the bureaucrats, and the media. In that order.

Eh, I'm not convinced the state level agencies are much more trustworthy. If their misdeeds pale in comparison I put to you that it's likely only due to lack of opportunity. Just look at local law enforcement.

Actually I have to disagree the Supreme Court has no authority on the government’s actions outside the nation. Sure policies in the US can be stopped because they are unconstitutional. But outside of America the constitution does not apply.

Our nation is already one step behind our enemies because China won the cold war not us. How did that happen?
