That's putting it lightly, he is the the pure distilled essence of idea of the military good idea fairy, given corporeal form.

Swashbuckling Accountant
Good Idea Fairy: A mythical creature that causes upper level management to impose changes to standard operating procedures in an attempt to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place. These changes usually inflict undue stress and/or hardship on subordinates while having no negative effects on the decision maker.

Now go to his site and tell me is not the biggest good idea fairy in the history of good idea fairies.

I should have expected that really
If I remember right, that was only for the Porsche Tiger, the Henchel Tiger didn't have that problem because it didn't use the beyond bleeding edge electric drive system.

Was an issue with the Panther as well as time went on and standards of production slipped. The problem was poor mating of seals meant oil would leak from various components into the engine. There the heat of the engine would eventually cause the oil to ignite which is as you might expect a bad thing.
The gear system was known to be particularly bad for leaks as it was designed to use high end steel for its components which was very logical, but due to wartime shortages they had to use lesser quality metal which caused the mechanism to shred itself regularly.
Ultimately that was the big issue with all German big cats, they were designed assuming the best materials would be available but built using whatever reality allowed. Most of the engine and gear train problems came down to that, and later when they ran low on chromium their armour became very brittle. Magnificent on paper but in practice they suffered from the reality of a wartime industry.

They keep updating it.
Hell, they got in some of the things they've promised! The Bastion was supposed to be in early on but apparently that wasn't in the cards at launch. Probably the same reason why Titans in BF2142 caused untold amounts of havoc on the netcode...

Ah, now I understand. We're just lucky that it wasn't Nexon that bought Sony Interactive or we'll be in trouble.
Not all of Nexons games are bad, but it seems Ppanetside 2 managed to avoid the other Sony games after Daybreak. They seems to be pretty well off as seen by the colossus

No, an artist that I regularly correspond with made it. He might not always answer right away but he gets the job done.

Send him my way, I need an artist for a project I have, it's hard Sci fi. Think "Afghanistan/Algiers in the 60s/Lebanon in the 80s meets The Legion in the 1920s, with more firepower."

No, it is what Nexon does to good games that don't obey their rules. For example, everyone (including me) who played Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex: First Assault loved playing it and it was pretty balanced after the class rework, but Nexon wanted it Pay to Win and then after the devs continued to not bow to those demands, Nexon shut it down.
