Putting my spacegoing war-triangles aside because, seriously, it's really hard to compete with Star Destroyers and their iterations in cool-factor for me, I'd have to go with probably the Dradnaught cruiser perhaps exactly because it's such an understated and somewhat 'boring' design. It looks like a utilitarian and 'lived-in' spaceship in most ways, which matches-up well with its whole lore thing of being an aging workhorse-vessel...But at the same time there's a hint of malice to it, that front end especially. Why I can't solidly say--because it looks a bit like a talon, maybe? I don't know. Just know it's definitely up there about SDs for my favorite ship.

I've always been partial to the MC-80. They always seemed like a perfect counter-argument to the SDs. Star Destroyers could level a system, but the MCs could tank that firepower and push past it. It's not how much you can dish out and all that.
On the fighter level, I am a B-Wing master race guy. Badass bomber with an interesting design by Ackbar himself.
Slave 1, and any Mandolorian ships.
For me, it's the Lukrehulk class ships. If you want to haul stuff across the galaxy, accept no substitutes.

Personally the reason why I'd want to have the CR-90 as my civilian ship is the fact that its large enough that I wouldn't go stir crazy while also being small enough that you don't need a massive crew to run the thing (I think you need around four dozen people). Besides it's a CEC product and thus it should be easy to customize to my tastes.
So would you use droids to replace the crew, or are you gonna hire some randos?

Probably around 20 people who I know and trust and roughly a few hundred droids including around 50 set up for security(and not B-1s those are more useful for other roles anyways but the ability for them to pick up their guns and help defend the ship if need be is nice to have so I'd have at least 50 of those aboard as well albeit with massive software upgrades)After all having some organics would help keep me sane and they are way more creative at troubleshooting and would run the guns and helm in the event we run into pirates. The smaller crew also means everyone gets nicer quarters. Mind you I'm also keeping a couple dozen spare cabins for passengers and possible extra crew.

This isn't a popular option but I really like the GR-75 Transport.

This is mostly because I have some good memories of making one into a murder-machine in a few Star Wars Saga Edition games, and it has maps of all it's decks so I can picture myself in it better than a ship with no idea of where things are inside. Plenty of space, plenty of cargo, adequate weaponry, and only needs a half dozen to run which is easily doable with a handful of droids given that the crew mostly is there to move cargo around.

as I recall that was their use during the Battle of Endor in the Return of the Jedi Novelization. Mind you the things are so slow and fragile they'll probably die to enemy fire or miss the target.

Each 50 tons of cargo space sacrificed to armaments grants 1 EP for weapons. A light turbolaser turret requires only 2 points, and a heavy one takes 10 points.
The GR-75 has 19,000 tons of cargo space.

so game logic as there's no way a GR-75 would have the hull space let alone the power generation to carry so many weapons.

Well yeah, if I specify I made it useful in a Star Wars Saga Edition game, it's a safe guess that I was using the game rules from Star Wars Saga Edition.
I didn't actually give it all that many though. It had I think something like four heavy turbolaser turrets on it, along with the four double laser point-defense cannons it comes with free and some torpedo tubes on it's nose.
A hefty chunk of the remaining space went to fighter bays and a seriously beefed up shield generator to turn it into a pocket carrier, as every player had taken the pilot skill. We'd leave one person to man the guns and a droid to fly it while everybody else hopped a fighter and pulverized the enemy, and it tenderized any hard targets with the turbolasers. It even had a bay big enough to hold a light freighter we used as our quarters (Long story short, we stole a Baudo Space Yacht from a crime lord who wasn't going to need it anymore where we sent him, and since the Yacht had luxury rooms we used it as a hotel inside the GR-75.)
It wasn't exactly a Star Destroyer but pirates thinking they'd found a juicy freighter to pillage tended to live just long enough to find out how wrong they were. That was a fun game.

how on Earth did you fit all that inside the hull! for heavens sake man its only 90 meters long. For a real world comparison that's shorter than a lot of WWI Destroyers
