Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022

well yeah you attack a country they have every right to attack you right back that's kind of how war works.

You do realize that if this continues, Russia will officially declare war on Ukraine? This will mean Russia can begin using its conscripts and other resources in Ukraine. If Russia does declare war, any hope of Ukraine somehow winning or negotiating a settlement is over. Ukraine knows this which is why they were reluctant to attack Russian soil early on, but the insane colonial overlords of American Manchukuo will fight Russia to the last drop of Ukrainian blood.

Russia not mobilizing reserves has nothing to do with legalities of declaring a war, and everything to do with the political fallout of forcing a mass of people to go to a very questionable war that's not going too well.
Negotiating a settlement in hindsight was never an option, at least not for anything more than a tactical delay. Ukraine wants to be independent and choose to side with the west, and Russia wants it to be a puppet state at minimum. There is no room for compromise there.

Russians apparently struck the bridge leading from the Southwestern province of Budjak to the rest of Ukraine again and destroyed it. Direct land routes from Romania to Ukraine will now have to travel through Moldova.

Speaking of Moldova... the Transnistrian Authorities are reporting an attack on their munition depots and are already blaming Ukrainian forces for the alleged attacks.

Australia is sending more military aid to Ukraine, this time in the form of six M777 155mm Howitzers.

Russian MoD is apparently moving around Ukrainian corpses for propaganda purposes. Short thread analysing it below.

Warning: Bodies (or Body Rather) Shown in The Replies

What having artillery superiority does.

Sheer desperate attempt to use them in suicide strikes that won't change the outcome, also shows Turkey is replacing them as fast as they are being wiped out.

Russian factories go brrr

Russian Ships back to doing donuts around Odessa, indicating the Moskva was indeed lost to crew negligence handling ammo and the UkA missile threat is a western/UkA fabrication.

The fall of this are means a tertiary road to Sieverodonetsk is now blocked and a secondary highway there is now under direct fire control of Russian Tanks. If they advance a mere one km south, they will be able to range it with 30mm fire and ATGM fires.

Even then, due to the terrain, they only need to blow the bridges at Zakitne and Kryva Luka to control the movement of UkA Logistical support.

Ah, so many reports, so little time to go through them all. Well back to work.

Ships sighted off of the coastline of Odessa. Saw posts about it earlier but other accounts were stating it was likely civilian shipping so I decided to wait and see on it instead of drawing conclusions.

Chinese businesses limiting or suspending operations with Russia.

An FSB Lieutenant Colonel, reportedly a member of their elite Alfa Group, has finally been reported as killed during the 'Special Military Operation' almost two months ago.

Russian Convoy destroyed by Ukrainian Forces. It consisted of civilian vehicles escorted by a BMP.

Yea... Russia isn't going to go anywhere near Odessa without the Moskva's air defense capability...

The risk is just too great for them loosing what little black sea forces they have left.

Skif/Stugna ATGM reportedly used to destroy two Russian AFV's in Southern Ukraine.

Two Ukrainian Loitering Munitions shot down. These are Polish Warmate drones. Russia apparently claims they were attempting to destroy a Nuclear Power Facility in Russia.

Another Russian Loitering Munition shot down in Luhansk by small arms fire reportedly. Russia's had some trouble with this particular drones operation IIRC.

Protest in Russian Occupied Kherson.

Yes rough weather can get more dangerous near the shoreline in many cases. And that'd proven to be very hazardous for Russian Naval shipping.

Footage from March of a Ukranian MiG-29 pilot taking off from a runway while it's under fire.

Brazil will apparently supply the tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition for the German Gepards that Germany is sending to Ukraine since Switzerland refuses to.

Mountains of destroyed civilian motor vehicles piled up in the suburb of Irpin outside Kyiv.

Australia's Bushmaster Armored Vehicles have arrived in Ukraine and are apparently getting heavier firepower.

Reportedly at least half of the pledged Howitzers of the United States have arrived in Ukraine as well.

United States planning on passing a Ukranian "Lend Lease Act" through Congress soon.

Denmark is sending M113 APC's, Anti-tank Mines and mortar shells among other things to Ukraine as part of an $85 million dollar aid package.

More crowdfunded gear going to the Russian troops including optics, suppressors, chainsaws! and shivels so they can bury their own dead and victims of their war crimes.

The Russians are deploying the Su-24M Attack Plane in Ukraine.

Little girl Welcoming Home Her Father. First time they've seen Each Other since Russia's Attempted Liberation of the Country.

@Husky_Khan On a purely military perspective... I am wondering...despite the media here is saying the Ukranians are winning, how the fuck they still need that much equipment?

If the Ukranians want to have their supposed tens of thousands of reserves and Territorials be anything more then light foot infantry they'll need a lot more vehicles even if they suffered no war losses.

Thanks God,you are still alive! remember - never meet fsb alone. You could be another suicide victim of putin.
Now:
1.Russian artillery destroy urainians
2.Bakyatar drones do not matter, are destroyed, and Turkey still deliver them.
3.USA could not made weapons, when kgbstan could
4.wreck of oiler is sailing near Odessa, which prove, that kgbstan could take it.And Moscov was sunked by putin stupidity, not ukrainians.
5.kgbstan could cut ukrainians. You said that 2 months ago,you knew?

Let assuma, that all of thhat is true -
1.WHY YOUR IDOLS DO NOT WIN YET?
2.IF MOSCOV WAS SUNKED BY PUTIN IDIOCY,NOT UKRAINIANS,THEN YOUR ENTIRE FLEET IS IN DANGER - BECOUSE PUTIN COULD SUNK THEM ANYWHERE,WHEN UKRAINE ONLY 100KM FROM SHORE.

And - you forget about powerfull Allies Putin have.Witches - they danced for him some time ago.
Apparently, putin choosed bad witches. They do not help him

Putin is psycho genocider, but not idiot.Sending cannonfodder is not option - becouse anybody who was in army few years ago forget what to do.
He could use only those who was up to 5 years - which mean, about million people. And only fraction of it is infrantry, which he need to win.

And ,since kgbstan do not undarstandt arguments, beating them on their own soil is only road to peace for Ukraine.
And here, one reason why why kgbstan is no so dangerous as they should be:

Igor Girkin is pessimistic on the slow nature of Russia's offensive and admits the Ukrainians are defending well and with zeal.

Details on the aid package America will likely be sending in addition to the Lend Lease Bill.

Details on the ongoing efforts to recruit Conscripts into volunteering for service in the Special Military Operation.

Brimstone/Sea Spear AntiShip missiles maybe going to Ukraine thanks to United Kingdom.

Railway Bridge from Crimea to Melitopol destroyed. No doubt due to bad weather... Or mishandled munitions. Or NATO Special Forces.

I mean we didn't.
They are defending themselves and have been fighting for 8 years.
We didn't do anything

I'm not so certain West is completely blameless. Anyway, a bit of what I found on the causes of war in Ukraine:
