Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022

The guy is a narcissistic buffoon, he probably thinks he can control the neonazis, while the neo-nazis control him.
Basically he has the IQ of Jewish-in-name-only celebrities from the USA, in particular the ones that support Antifa, lock-downs and Hezbollah.
Or he is just the puppet of the oligarchs, who don't care if some of their thugs are neo-nazis, they are in Switzerland or Cyprus, not in Ukraine.
I've heard conspiracy theories of Jews secretly controlling various Neo-Nazi groups, but this is the first time i've seen anyone accusing Neo-Nazis of secretly controlling the Jews. Have they evolved into their ultimate form? Clearly something that happens only in clown world.

Iran is ruled by an Azeri with extended family in Azerbaijan, yet backed Orthodox Armenia in the Nagorno-Kabarakh War...

No one said the world has to make sense.

Gee, Nuland is indeed freaking out over what the Russians will find in Ukraine's biolabs.

I mean that one makes perfect sense Azerbaijan is a Turkish client state, Iran and turkey don't like each other.

.…I am not sure what to say.

The schizophrenia coming out of the Biden Administration even surpassed all of the Doomering that erupted in social media that any potential aircraft transfer would trigger World War Three.

Meanwhile Turkey is nonchalantly apparently selling Ukraine a couple dozen more murder drones and no one gives af because that's not part of the posturing drama going on.

Which Biden incident there have been several.... today.

Twitter Sperg of the Night.

President Zelensky showed he was still in Kyiv I guess and made a little speech in broad daylight the other day.

Speaking of politicians doing fighting, apparently Georgia's Former Defense Minister is with the Georgian International Legion that's already fighting alongside the Ukrainians in this conflict. Irakliy Okruashvili was apparently Georgia's Defense Minister from 2004-06.

Supposedly a Russian soldier/looter got so drunk that he passed out and was later captured.

One of the thousand plus Panzerfaust-3's that has arrived from NATO countries.

A Russian tank with a damaged/penetrated anti-Javelin cage/"Cope Cage" near Mykolaiv, northwest of Crimea.

You really have to wonder why they wasted so much time and money on those cages given they have absolutely zero effect.
You gotta convince the crews to get in the fifty year old tanks somehow. Lies work best when you add some theater, and overhead cage protection is pretty theatrical. Like ERA, I'm sure it works sometimes, just not as much as they tell the crews and more often then the Ukrainians tell reporters.

No, it really doesn't work sometimes.

Because Slat armor is only useful against RPG's and HEAT rounds, not Anti Tank rockets. Meaning, like apparently so much else in their military, those cages are literally just a waste of time and money on the part of the Russian military.

So it's only useful against some classes of antitank weapons in common circulation but not all of them so it's a total waste? Is body armor useless because it doesn't stop common rifle rounds at close ranges? Listen to what you just said.

Cage and slat armor or spaced armor or side skirts, like ERA are only effective against certain types of warheads. Sure most top attack missiles are not going to be deterred by it, but that hardly makes it totally pointless. Even if it only works a couple times out of a hundred, against really oblique shots, it's literally just some steel mesh and bits of metal frame. Against the cost of a tank or just crew confidence that's fucking amazingly cheap.

Except Russian Cope Cages are too widely spaced to stop RPG's and Heat rounds. :p

Also they're in the wrong position, for stopping RPG's and HEAT rounds you want the cages on the side's or front/back, not the top. Note, this is how proper Slat armor looks.

Do you even know how top attack missiles work? US tanks have Cage to protect against shitty forty year old RPGs, coming in from the sides and rear. That's not what the Ukrainians are shooting at Russian tanks. Top attack missiles either have a standard heat or tandem heat warhead that comes in on a big looping high angle arc to strike the top armor of the tank or overflys the tank to detonate the explosion downwards out the side of the missile into the top of the tank. You'll note that the Abrams has zero protection against either of these, just relying on its top armor protection.

In the case of both types of top attack missiles, spaced armor could plausibly help, though the calculations of strength of the plasma jet, vs armor, vs required standoff distance is totally unknown to me. It could be that the missile warhead is powerful enough that you would need meters of standoff to dissipate the metal jet sufficiently to prevent serious damage, but I doubt that as a missile that large would be difficult to carry by hand.

Except as was already explained, those cages don't work against Anti Tank missiles.

So you're a clown and do not understand at all that the warhead on the missile is what determines which kind of protection works best against it.

Anti Tank missiles are a really broad term. They cover everything from aerial launched ATGMs to IFV mounted missile tubes to tank gun launched missiles. Everything from guide by wire to IR locked to optical tracked and unguided. All of these are Anti Tank missiles. All of them have different warhead weights, ECM and physical defense countermeasures. From microwave soft kill to kinetic hard kill systems. I mean do you even know how a HEAT or tandem HEAT warhead penatrates armor in general and how spaced armor protection works?

Laughing at an attempt to modernize trash fifty year old MBTs against modern top attack missiles because the protection didn't work some of the time is pig ignorant. We have zero idea of the success rate yet, just anecdotes of failures. It's also, I'm fairly sure at least, the first real attempt at spaced armor protection against modern top attack missiles. There are going to be lots of failures until it gets refined.

Are vaccines absolute failures if they don't provide one hundred percent protection? Is body amount worthless if you can just get killed by high caliber IFV fire? Shit ATGMs in general can knockout tanks, the USA better stripe all that pointless, heavy and expensive armor off their MBTs.
