Yes I know they aren’t as good as 1st world western army engineers. But I still would expect them to have something they don’t use feudal levies.
Though with the damage the war gave them I won’t be surprised if in the future they do.
They do have an equivalent. There's a deployment of them at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and all along the border helping remove unexploded ordinance launched at peaceful Russian territory by UkroNazi Separatists so they're probably busy to deal with any fixes at the moment that Russian "private enterprise" might've overlooked in the initial construction.

My questions in regards to that bridge would be: How prevalent are these cracks in the supports along the span of the bridge. What was the actual quality of the cement used, IE was it that cheap stuff with a rather high grade of sand mixed in? What about the rebars, were they all properly installed as the cement was poured in, and are they actual wrought iron or some cheaper material. And last but not least, they apparently did some rather fast repair work on that bridge after it went boom last time...how expert or how shoddily was it done?

Would it even unite us though? Because I sure as hell wouldn't "support the war effort" by giving people who want me dead more power, and I doubt I'm the only one. A war with Russia would likely turn into a war on two fronts in short order, with one of those fronts being at home against other Americans.

@Terthna, if you are truly that worried about your personal safety, I strongly recommend you get acquainted with local law enforcement in your area, start reading on all laws concerning self-defense in your area, read up on self defense and take self defense courses, take a good hard look at purchasing firearms for self defense and decide what you want, and purchase them, and last but certainly not least, apply for a CCW (Concealed Carry Permit) and be sure to know EXACTLY what all laws concerning self defense with yourself and home is. Also, if you do apply for CCW, consider insurance through the USCCA.

There is no Big Bad and Big Good so that their poor child brains don't have to strain themselves trying to think of relations between 50 different factions like in a Paradox grand strategy. Just because one group wants to fuck you over doesn't mean there aren't a dozen different national and international groups trying to do different flavors of the same, nor that if one is in some way against one of the factions that hate you doesn't necessarily mean they aren't your enemies too (see: commies and islamists for simple example).
