Police Corruption Thread.

Police tell injured, intoxicated woman who claims to be a victim of domestic violence to keep walking down a busy highway at night after she begs them for a ride. 13 minutes later she was dead from an apparent suicide as she sat in the middle of the road and was hit by a semi. The state of Missouri acts to discipline the deputies involved and they lawyer up and fight back.

Police find a missing veteran with alzheimers who had wandered off, assume he was on drugs, beat him unconcious, and have now given him 5 bogus charges. They are currently in the process of gaslighting the public about this officer's conduct and the media is all too eager to help, apparently.

Police kill a man raiding the wrong house over a stolen weedeater. They have yet to admit that they went to the wrong address. They have yet to release the search warrant they were serving, or any body cam footage. Also, they didn't call in the shots fired until several minutes after they shot the guy, with a neighbor's surveillance footage showing that they huddled up outside of the man's house and had a meeting before calling it in.

Update:

They mayor is getting in on the obstruction. Police are now claiming they stopped using body cams in 2023, much to the surprise of at least some members of the city council. Also, someone leaked a phone call between the judge and the police officer in charge of this because the judge used the 911 dispatcher to get a hold of said officer and the call was recorded. While the judge claimed to the public that it wasn't his stuff that was stolen, the call makes it clear that the judge had items stolen, and the weedeater was not some random tenant's property, but was in fact his nephew's. Also, they barely acknowledge the fact that someone was killed over this. The judge is way more concerned with recovering the stolen property.

Sheriffs Deputies in NY State spot an 11 year old girl in a pink coat and camo pants and apparently mistake her for an adult car thief, and based entirely on a description radioed to them, they put her in hand cuffs on the spot. After receiving a picture, the deputies remain convinced that they have the right person and fucking children are the voice of reason through the entire thing. Eventually, they realize they have an 11 year old girl in handcuffs and let her go. The Sheriff defends this as good police work, though.

Another sheriff's department, this time in FL, arrest the wrong person in spite of it being obvious that this is the wrong person. They later admit to her that they have the wrong person, and basically admit that they've kidnapped her and won't let her go unless the department that issued the warrant she was wrongly arrested for came and got her, or arrested the correct person. Naturally, they have investigated themselves and cleared themselves of any wrongdoing.

An analyst for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation has been indited with 102 Felony counts for manipulating data and falsifying evidence going back to 1994. The had retired in 2023.

Police tackle, beat, and arrest a 66 year old dementia patient for allegedly shoplifting, even though he didn't steal anything and did everything he was told. They then lied about what happened and what they did afterward in spite of all the camera footage showing otherwise. And basically it comes off as being because they were bored. Before they became involved, they involved themselves in a paramedic call for a woman suffering from a diabetic episode, and showed exactly zero understanding or compassion for her. Their chief supports their actions in beating this elderly dementia patient, btw. Then the DA went ahead and prosecuted this man, and this process only stopped after the media put it on blast.

Update: Apparently the Mayor doesn't care, even though it's a blatant example of corruption and elder abuse. The officers lied to his wife at the hospital, which they were only at because the jail refused him. They lied on their report. Their own body cam footage shows this. Yet so far there are zero consequences for these officers, and both their chief and the city mayor are 100% behind them. They told his wife that it was all going to be fine and that they would flag him in their system as having dementia, then turned around and tried to do everything they could to put him in jail.

Police officer was suspended, prosecuted, fired, and convicted, and yet he is still on the job as a police officer. Apparently one of his chief's tried to reign him in, but he was discouraged from doing so by the city government because they liked all the money he was making for them off of towing people's cars. They then went on to fire that chief. That was when he was a sergeant. Now he's an LT. The mayor even agrees that he isn't a good cop, yet she can't get rid of him for some reason.

Woman who is off her meds is taken to the hospital by her cousin to try to get her medicated again. She is not violent or threatening in any way, and if anything seems to have regressed in her mind to childhood. Paramedic on duty in the ER refuses to even go out and look at her, and instead calls the police and reports her as a disturbed individual. Sheriff's deputies show up and the woman's cousin tries to explain that she's a bipolar schizophrenic who is off her meds. One of them ignores all the information that the people around him (including his fellow deputies) are trying to give him "I don't need her life story" and proceeds to pull the woman out of the vehicle and put her on the ground. While he kneels on her, his fellow deputies are able to pull her right arm out from under her and maneuver it behind her back, he grabs her left arm and proceeds to twist it 270 degrees, snapping her arm like a twig. He then handcuffs her broken arm to her other arm, and pulls her up to a sitting position by the arm, and has the temerity to yell at her to calm down and that everything's alright. Later, in his report, he describes this as taking control of her left arm and placing it safely behind her back to restrain her, and that while he did so that it made a popping sound, but he was unaware of what caused it. And as you might guess, this man has faced zero consequences for this.

Same damn cop beats down another old man with dementia

Ok so... cop is a scumbag. I am not defending the cop but raising a concern completely unrelated to the cop.

We have a 80 year old dementia patient. Driving on the wrong side of the road. Leading police on a car chase.
Something is seriously fucked up that this was possible in the first place. That 80 year old man is a danger to himself and everyone around him. He could have easily caused a head on collision killing himself and a random family of innocents.

You watched all that, and that's your response? Dude, the fuck is wrong with you?

I mean yeah the old man shouldn't be driving but that cop beat the fuck out of an 80 year old man with dementia and this is the second time that same cop has done this. He needs to go to prison and when he does go I hope those inmates in there give him what he has coming.
