Musk actually buys Twitter.

Some people just have Musk Derangement Syndrome.

It's like Trump Derangement Syndrome, only it is more bipartisan in it's spread.

Musk has openly said if the fringe 10% on either side hate what he's doing, it's probably doing the right thing, and that's mean the vocal minorities on both sides have started to hate Musk.

Threads is already cratering, users are averaging less than half as much time now as they did when it was new and a sure Twitter Killer.

Not too terribly surprising. A decent chunk of the decline is probably due to the initial wave of users now being acclimated to "the hot new thing" instead just blindly fumbling around.

That's an interesting move.

I wonder how it'll work out.
It’s a very interesting move, and rather intelligent if played in a certain way.

One of the ways companies get away with treating some of their employees like shit is that, even if they could be taken to court for poor treatment, they can drag it out and ultimately outspend the offended party.

That is unless big Daddy Elon crashes the party with his billions. Thereafter you haven’t a hope in hell of outspending of the offended party and are forced to seek a fair settlement.

There is a meme on how to use twatter. it goes something like
> How to use twitter:
> Step 1: make an account
> Step 2: post stuff
> Step 3: get fired for a twit you made 10 years ago

This is trying to combat that.
Honestly he should have gone a step further and actually made a legal team and reach out to victims of cancel culture to start suing their former employers for wrongful termination with his team.

I personally deleted all my antisocial media accounts (not that I was a heavy user) when it started becoming dangerous

Thing is, Musk himself doesn't care if X/Twitter is losing money. It's basically his pet project/a way to kick wokies in the nuts.

He's doing it for fun. That's what people, especially the wokies who have arranged most of their life around soc-med and Twitter in particular, cannot understand.

The guy makes so much from other projects (like SpaceX) that if X/Twitter craters, he can just shrug and go back to playing with... well, whatever tickles his fancy that particular month (such as giant borehole machines, rockets, et cetera).

Smells like cope, to be honest. If it's true ... that's more financial power than I want a single human to have but, since this is the world we live in, good for him I guess. "Living his best life" as the kids say.

He literally bought Twitter on a whim and because one or two members of their management pissed him off. :ROFLMAO: That guy is a living monopoly.
