We need more info about that.Mega funny how they were outraged over Musk's wrongthink but not CP defense force at Twitter HQ.
So apparently Twitter's Files were the subject of attempted sabotage from the inside.
Tl;Dr same guy who helped shape the "Russian Collusion" lie in 2016 and 17 was trying to block and stonewall releases of Twitter Files, because he was hired by Twitter after leaving the FBI.
He has been fired now by Elon, after he was asked to explain himself and provided a lackluster explanation.
According to Elon they were shadow banning politicians during elections.Babe wake up Musk just proved Twitter was secretly manipulating the news AND lied about to on record multiple times
According to Elon they were shadow banning politicians during elections.
That's a pretty big deal
This I doubt. They are not legally required to platform anyone they don't want to. It'd only be legally actionable if the government asked/demanded it of them. They did lie about it, but not to Congress, so that doesn't matter legally either. I still think it's bad, tbc. I just don't think it's gonna be anymore legally actionable than being laughed outta court.a pretty huge legally actionable deal.
I don't know enough about the law to say either way.a pretty huge legally actionable deal.
