As an atheist, I actually agree with this.
Yeah, things have gotten this dire.
Smart money is that at least america is due for a religious revival soon, and considering how shit the world is right now well we cant fill the void with material things anymore because the money isn't there. People need another source of comfort.

The Lord enjoins us to love our enemies. But as far as I know He said nothing about them ceasing to be enemies just because we love them.

A serial murderer still deserves the death penalty. Give them some months on death row so they have a chance to repent before they meet their maker, but out of love of their victims and potential future victims, you still stop and then execute them.
Pretty sure that statement was made in response to a Rasmussen Survey and taken out of context, both by Scott Adams originally but also by you in regards to Scott Adams' "Rant" that your referring to, especially since he stated he was talking hyperbolically... which again, was fairly self evident if you saw it. He is more annoyed with the obsession with race that many Americans have on the Left as well as notable groups on the Right.
