Why it is seems that anything butt-related seems to come from Anglo countries?

As this is english speaking forum, most of the weird stuff will naturally come from english speaking countries and since most of us live in countries dominated by english speaking media, we are all more likely to hear about adventures of Florida Man rather than Sichuan Man or Nigerian Saurian Sodomites.

Well that is one explanation, but it doesn't explain it fully, but I recall that lots of the butt stuff jokes, innuendos and so on come on other places beyond this forum.

I got all called kind of stuff in uni and in my Erasmus university exchange. It went from Nazi to Stalinist to libertarian to populist to "homo-transphobic".

Isn't South Africa already majority Christian though? The US is also majority Christian but I don't think anyone who is okay or indifferent about that is automatically a Christian Nationalist. Florida man is actually a particular exemption. Florida has what they call "sunshine laws". namely, they are legally required to release to the public legal documents on anything the police does.

When the police arrests a man for fornicating with a bear in most states. Nobody knows unless the zoo contacted the news.
When the police in florida does that, the police will publish the full police report. only redacting his personal info (name, address, phone number, etc).

Thus the redacted police report reads
> Florida man arrested breaking into zoo to molest bear.

Lazy news reporters just look through published police reports and publish any particularly outrageous or funny sounding ones.

It arguably is, but because they're one of the few places that do, it leads to a disproportionate number of those silly / outrageous stories featuring "Florida Man". Hence the meme and the reputational damage to Florida. Florida isn't crazier than anywhere else, it's just that we hear about Florida's crazies because of those sunshine laws, whereas we don't hear about anywhere near the same amount to crazy from other places because they lack them.
