Same thing happens in western governments.

Talking about a problem is often more profitable then solving it so some one with resources outside of the system with a desire to actually you know fix the problem often outcompetes governments with no desire to do so.

The difference, I think, is that in the West the apathetic people who run those governments are generally not so narcissistic as to think that people who came in from outside and solved problems the government was ignoring, were doing so just to make the government look bad.

the problem with politics is the law of political retaliation is iron clad any tactic you use can and will be used by your poltiical oponates in time.
Eh, up to a point.
Memory holing is a thing.
As is PR painting someone as the devil for only retaliating.
Plus they can't retaliate if they are sufficiently weakened.
Ultimately the law of retaliation is subordinate to the law of "history is written by the victors"

Once again, the American Right has not had political power since the late 19th Century. American politics has been mostly dominated by the center and center-left for the all the 20th century, starting from the Progressive movement of the 1910s and 1920s, through the New Deal of the 1940s and up until the 1990s, where there was finally a bit of a right wing backlash but it was attenuated by the fact a left wing democrat was President.

Seriously, this idea that the moderns right wing ever was anything but a insurgency against the dominate left wing in the country needs to die in a fire, it's not true, it's never been true, and a simple look at the history of control of Congress shows it.

> Political power is holding the presidency, and the supreme court, and both houses of congress at the same time, and doing so entirely with "True Loyalists" to the cause rather than mere official members of the party

...
right wingers held plenty of power of the years.
They just always refuse to use it when they have it, not even willing to use tactics that have already been used by the left

Maybe, but the Right could have tried a hell of a lot harder. It certainly could be doing so now. But the Right Wing establishment is joined at the hip with the Democrats. They want people like me to shut up and go away so they can go back to talking cheap and being noble losers.

When and where did right wingers hold power to enact against the left wing?

. . . OK, so how could they have "tried harder"? What EXACTLY could they have done?

Not capitulated to the Democrats in the name of looking ‘reasonable’ or stood by whenever they had any sort of political advantage in the Senate or Congress.

Said right wing establishment is currently being purged and replaced.

Fact is they frequently made sacerfices in domestic policy in the name of international and now that has finally come home to roost. Their most likely going to flush the entire party down on the way down political realinments are not fun after all.

Yah but they are fighting it kicking, screaming and cheating.

And I have my doubt that it will be successful or quick enough to prevent what I hope and fear might be coming.

Generalities. Speaking in generalities here doesn't help as all it does is showcase you just having FEELINGS on this, not actual facts or specific examples.

Larry Fink seems to always dodge criticism even though he's the biggest pusher out of all of them.

I’m going to have to start writing the Great Right-Wing Book of Grudges, aren’t I?

How about not putting Ronna McDaniel in charge of the RNC? How about not spending millions on very safe districts and on trying to primary out MAGA while leaving key swing areas to flounder with no help because they are too close to Bad Orange Man. How about not fucking over Trump in the first 2 years and actually working with him when we had the votes to get shit done for the first time in a decade? How about actually taking care of Americans problems instead of focusing on whatever the next endless war is gonna be? How about cleaning out the fucking useless pollsters and campaign guys we have who only know how to lose gracefully. The fact that Scott Pressler does good work is in spite of the GOP. they don't help him. they haven't tried to learn or copy his methods. at this point the Establishment wing seems determined to self sabotage as long as they can keep MAGA from grabbing the reins.
