Proxies aren't really a new thing for example Armenia was a Roman proxy. Another example is the kingdom of Judah being an Egyptian proxy against the Assyrians. So as you can see the use of proxy states is a strategy that is thousands of years old
Yeah and I'm sick of it, I've been putting up with this song and dance for thousands of years now enough is enough I say.

You mean the ISIS that Trump helped destroy most of thier territory.
Trump couldn't even get your comrades out of Northeast Syria and you want me to believe he was the one destroying ISIS, warhound?
Hezbollah works for Iran and Syria.
Partially right. But Hezbollah never worked for Syria, as @Wargamer08 pointed out :
Blaming Syria for not being able to control its territory hits different when there are active US bases set up uninvited in the country next to major, coincidentally, oilfields. No Syria gets none of that oil, weird.

Why would Syria do anything to help out a major US proxy? What are they going to do, bomb their airports at random and rob them of hundreds of millions of dollars? Oh wait.

Mind these are the same US troops that Trump wanted to withdraw but had the military lie to his face and play shellgames with.
Gaza-Israel is a real damn mess but Syria? That's a decade of US and NATO meddling, occupation and larceny. Expecting them to be able to exert control of their borders after spending all that time destabilizing them? Fucking ridiculous.
Syria has no duty to help Israel or the US, in fact it ethically and morally deserves to do the exact contrary.
Because citizens of thier countries have tiber died ir been captured,
Holy goddamn Christ my English grammar ain't perfect but if this is the level of English a soldier of the US God help us. I wouldn't be surprised if you confused a Garand "ping" with a grenade pin...
and doing nothing shows that your own citizens mean nothing to you, and that you will gladly let them be murdered.....
This coming from the same country that allows more than one of its organizations to poison its citizens with fentanyl or a botched arm shot?

Hezbollah operates where ever they are allowed to operate. And the US chose a side in the Syrian civil war.
Just like Russia did.
Did Russia have to get invovled in Syria?
You know why Russia got invovled. Same reason the US did. OIL.

and yes, the point i am getting at is that Syria is against Isreal, therefore will let Hezbollah use thier nation to launch strikes...

I rely heavily on spell check.
Grammar still sucks ass of mine, not wrong. I am just lazy here.

and no, I would not get them confused.

I mean, the same government that can change who is in charge every 4 years and isn't bound by the EU to accept immigrants.
At least even the horrible Biden admin realizes a fence is needed, unlike your government which won't fight against the EU

2015 was the year the RF intervened on the side of Syria. Certainly it ain't the merit of the US forces.
Hezbollah operates where ever they are allowed to operate.
Wheter you like it or not, Hezbollah DID help defeat US proxies. Even if it DID want it
And the US chose a side in the Syrian civil war.
The side of people who cut heads of kids and was demonstrated to Trump who then asked why you were helping them in the first place.
Just like Russia did.

This...coming from a guy whose MIC exarcebated the conflict there at best and at worst started the whole mess.

As far as I know so far Hezbollah has launched from Lebannon not Syria.
and no, I would not get them confused.

The same EU created and who you put the French and Germans in charge?

Idk, doesn't mean they still arnt the citizens of the country.

Do you think it mattered how the 9/11 victims voted?
The sailors and soldiers in Pearl?
It didn't matter then because we all cared about the country then. now that the opposition wants us dead or reeducated in a lovely camp where we can be concentrated away from them it is a different story. the perks of being considered a loyal opposition presuppose their loyalty to America and it's ideals. they don't have that. they hate america. they think its ideals are every flavor of ist/phobe. they actively support our enemies. they actively weaken us both at home and abroad with every policy. Biden already left Americans behind in Afghanistan. He still hasn't visited east Palestine after the train derailment. the Dems don't care. they have never cared. their mask has come off and we no longer have the same obligations to them.

They're not mine. I don't belong to any group with say for example, abortionists, thus it's absolutely no concern of mine when something bad happens to them.

Yes.

Yes.

Look Sophocles, the only political distinction that matters is friend vs enemy.
It's not tragic when bad things happen to my enemies, it's a windfall. It's a tragedy when bad things don't happen to people who deserve them.

Do they think that's an insult to the Chinese leader?

Dictatorship can be a very powerful and effective form of government. While a Dumbocracy will fiddle around trying to achieve consensus, a Great Leader will Make Decisions and Get Things Done.

(I had a conversation with a mathematics lecturer who was from China. First person I'd ever met who openly and articulately argued for non-democratic government as superior)

The problem is that all leaders are often morons. totalitarian or elected.

Democracies were pretty nice when they just started. But democracies have ceased to exist ever since the aristocracy figured out the critical security holes that let them turn every democracy in the world into an oligarchy
