The same companies that make billions and billions off of wars and thus have every incentive to help cause or support them to make more money for themselves and thus endanger the very lives they 'save'?
The whole goal of the united states defense contractors is to have as little lives lost as possible .compare our and the western countries equipment with that of the Russians.
Western equipment has had higher survival rates then that I'd the Russian stuff.
They may profit on wat but they only profit if things are good.
Your shit getting people killed isn't good

And that is the sound of the point being made about the military industrial complex flying over your head. Not unexpectedly really.

Zachowon isn't entirely wrong, because there are people in the military industrial complex who do genuinely want that.

There are also plenty of people who just don't give a shit and want to make product.

There are also plenty of people who hate that the whole thing exists, but have to keep funding it, because this shit is now so specialized, it would cost more money to try to rebuild it from the ground up.

Etc, etc.

Eh, lacking humor, little vague, muddled message, but good Base! Only the government cares about enlisting, the MIC doesn't care much.

The UN think should be cut, as they don't really align with the US.

Toss the NATO flag on the head, cut the bottom half of Raytheon, add Boeing and Northrup Grumman.

Remove the US Flag from the head, and replace it with the IRS seal or the Presidential seal or some other agency/Military branch.

Swap "ENLIIISST" with "FEED ME".

admittedly not all political comics need to be too humorous. making the MIC an arachnid monster is a great base. I'd be tempted to make each leg a different company and put either the Nato flag or Milly or the trans navy guy as the head. admittedly that might be a bit mucho texto and trend toward the ben garrison end of things.

Not bad. I like the other suggestion to replace 'Enlist!' with 'Feed Me!' but I'd also toss some additional flags to represent targets of the US war machine - Afghanistan and Iraq to start - onto the dude getting attacked by the spider-lady representing the MIC there. It sure as hell isn't just Americans dying when an invasion gets underway and there's always a lot more of the other guys doing the dying than US troops.

Now it's of no relevance to me that the people dying at well over 10x the number of American dead are brown, unlike what a load of libs/progs think. But it is certainly of relevance that not all (probably even most) of those others dead are civilians. Things like drone strikes racking up hundreds of civilian deaths, publicized incidents of US or Coalition personnel losing their shit & murdering randos abroad (alternatively, they may have been insane from the start and basically enlisted precisely in the hope of killing people without going to prison or facing execution as serial killers back home) ala the 2006 Mahmudiyah rape & murders or the 2010 'Kill Team' psychos, really epic and notorious calamities like Obama's 2015 airstrike on a Doctors Without Borders hospital or Biden killing an aid worker and his family (including 7 kids) during the 2021 rout from Kabul...these things most certainly do & will continue to spin up blowback by harming America's image and encouraging even more of the Afghans/Iraqis/whoever to become terrorists.

And that's perfectly fine, even desirable, to the MIC. More enemies = more targets and more justification for funding to kill them, after all. In fact I wouldn't even be surprised if the board of Raytheon pops the champagne behind closed doors if another 9/11-level attack ever happens, there would be nothing better to rejuvenate patriotism and get Americans pissed at someone other than them in a time when recruitment rates are collapsing, even military families are walking away & their former stalwart supporters on the Right are turning against them while the Left (as ever) still hates their guts anyway. So in a perverse way, the blood of both hostile terrorist and genuinely unfortunate civvie who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when shit goes down, feeds the war profiteers just as much as (or more than I'd say, FAR more considering the K:D ratios in these places) that of the American soldier.

I mean, the reason for so many civilians deaths is because when facing an enemy that is not a traditional force, that leads to what we faced.
Ni excuse, just explaining why it would happen
