More than just Canada: If they dead, we don't have to pay their pensions or their healthcare costs. Let's make suicide legal and encourage it.
No, bad idea. You'll end up like Canada where legal suicide is the 5th or 6th leading cause of death, with people being kept in purposely bad conditions while being offered the option to go and die.
Anyway, it's why you want a privatized system.

Active Voluntary Human Euthanasia is legal in Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and the Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.

And I was trying to imply that the reason it's legal is so 'permissive' 'liberal' welfare state countries can save money and get rid of undesirables.
I think it's an awful idea. Horrifically unethical, especially when you have hospitals and doctors actively encouraging, in both a positive manner or in a negative coercive manner, it like they do in Canada.
It's 100% a way to get rid of people with chronic medical issues, and pensioners. That way the government frees up more money in the long run.
It is killing the elderly and eugenics by getting rid of people who have issues that are frequently genetic on some level (such as predisposition or outright birth defects).
It's terrible. And immoral, and unethical, and poor conduct, and typical socialist (communist and fascist) collectivist bullshit.

Millennials kind of have a reason to be sad and pissy because oh god we god fucked over.
Gen X got fucked over to and are now finally starting to have success as the boomers retire, they earned it I'm happy for them because they went through a lot of shit.
But the people who get my sympathy the most are the zoomers, far as I'm concerned their allowed to bitch as much as they want because holy shit they have never lived though a moment of time that wasn't a flaming sack of dog crap.
