Fuck that shit. I started an exercise regime because several medical tests have told me I'm an inch from being declared pre-diabetic.
mine was partially for looks, but I used to be an athlete, then gained 100 pounds. My high blood pressure and development of PVCs and constant headaches made me change my life up.
I lost 90 pounds, went from 20% PVCs to less than 1%, my blood pressure last I checked was 112/something..instead of 180. My legs, feet, and back hurt less, I don't have those headaches anymore.
I've also made huge progress with my depression, and regular physical exertion helps with anxiety.
Being fat is unhealthy and makes you feel like shit. I had never been in worse physical or mental health.
If that makes me whatever kind of phobe, then I'll wear that badge with pride, because I am never going back.
