When a man gets married he puts his property, his lively hood, and the fate of any children he has into the hands of the woman he marries. This is a person who is going to be his most partner in his life. This is quite possibly the most important decision he will ever make in his life and thanks to supremely shitty family courts this is a highly risky propasition.

Because even if you do everything right, your significant other can do meth, have a criminal back ground, and do everything wrong and still get the children, and then when your children are beaten to death by her criminal boy toys you will have no legal recourse against her.

Marrage is thus an incredibly important decision the most important decision a man might make in his entire fucking life. All critieria get calculated, when it becomes this big of a deal and your feelings do not fucking mater.

Living your entire life around some ones whims and emotions isn't a life its a special kind of hell.

Yet, any people that does not have children perishes. Any people that does not marry to raise children to be men and women, instead creates a bunch of ill-bred animals with the capabilities of men and women but without their moral attributes.

Hey I just looked up this Black Irish (did no one drop that obvious line yet?) Chick. Unless there's a lot of people with her name studying Clinical Medicine in Ireland she's apparently a 5th year medical student in Molecular Biology and Physiology (as well as a licensed Doctor in Ukraine). One of her Clinical papers is apparently on Testicular structure and how it contributes to Sperm count in parents and their offspring and the affects of alcohol upon it! She also did a paper on the Propensity of Women in the West engaging in 'Self Medication' and in another paper the effects of chronic drug use on Woman's ovaries!

Maybe someday Black Irish Women like her will help discover a cure to abate the ongoing White Infertility Crisis!

That is unless her career is derailed punching Racist Child Predators to death while working at Insomnia Coffee.

Nah, the majority of the reason people are having less kids is that educated people with lots of free time begin to cherish it and prefer selfish, hedonistic pleasures over procreation.

If people have to work themselves to the bone just to make ends meat because of inflation, it doesn't leave a lot of time for finding a spouse or having kids.

If that were true, you expect more wealth on an individual level to lead to more kids. In reality income has a very strong negative correlation with more kids.

The biggest predictors of having a large number of children are cultural factors like religion. Also the cultural impacts of a society that stresses the importance of the female career.

Also, the US's super-inflation is way too recent to be using it to explain a decades long trend.

Even if you try to point out wage stagnation, you still have the fact that tourism, video games, movies, and other luxury industries have been booming in the past decade.

Its not that people can't afford kids. It's that they don't want to make the sacrifices needed to make kids a priority.

Most people would rather spend their free time outside of work playing CoD, hitting bars, splurging with friends, going to concerts, et cetera, and spend their free cash on their yearly cruise or vacation, than spend all that time and money on kids.

If you're willing to live in an area that's medium or low cost, you can get by on minimum wage, or even minimum wage worked part time. If you're frugal, and don't have a medical condition that has persistent high expenses.

When you have a spouse plus kids though... that's when things really start getting expensive.

It's not that simple, although I think that's a part.

Historicaly, kids worked from a pretty young age. They weren't a big drain economicaly, after the first few years, because of that, and longer term were effectively the family Superanuation. When you got old, your kids took care of you.

With welfare, that doesn't apply. On top of that, there's a fair amount of push with feminism to not have kids, to go for a career and money instead. And those who choose having a family are often looked down on by academics with that kind of bent.

There are a bunch of Gov money thrown at parents, in various different ways. They seem to have no real effect on birthrates, that I've seen. (I haven't looked into it much, though.)

We americans forget that other countries have different forms of nationalism then we do and different foundational truths, and we sometimes think those things universal which causes problems. Like wise europeans sometimes forget we have a different foundational structure then we do.

In both cases no malice was intended but due to cultural misunderstandings people get pissed.

And no I do not think europe or other countries should be more like us, nor do I think we should be more like europe I think a people should be allowed to be themselves.
