No, the Hindu perspective is that being blown up boots you along based on your deeds.And the other thinks he can't be blown up.
"Dying for the cause gets the best possible outcome" does far more for moral than "however well you did rubs off on your next life", as the latter still has a survival pressure in the question of if it's really the best possible end or if you could do better and thus get a better reincarnation.So what's the difference?
