Does that include the Germans, Italians, Irish, and many other poor "white" immigrants that fled their impoverished or war torn countries to move into the East Coast- then and now the richest part of America? Who were, incidentally, instrumental in building American industry and infrastructure through their labor and enterprise?

No, let's be honest here. There's no logic or ideology here, just common xenophobia. "Grug no like other tribe" is the height of thinking anti-immigration people engage in. It's to the point that they will even shamelessly attack Haitian immigrants that are legal, hard working, and accepted by local industries just because "they're not from around here".
Oh no, they'll have to pay higher wages and hire Americans!
I'm against illegal labor driving down wages and fucking over Americans just so the well off can have their avacado toast

Because higher wages for workers means higher prices of goods, which means more spending out of consumers' pockets, which means inflation out of the wazoo, and eventually the decline of industry because consumers start cutting down on spending.
By all means, play that card. As I said earlier, my only consolation is that you people will suffer alongside me.
Slightly Higher prices that are offset by higher wages, and all the money goes to and benefits Americans.
That is no where near the win you think it is.
Seriously when the Irish first came they were a fucking meanace, they committed a lot of crime both petty and serious and they often corrupted the political process where ever they went creating political machines that often abused local populations and through corruption extracted money from honest people.
The Italians brought in the fucking mafia and it took generations to crush that shit to reasonable levels I mean the Italians were doing drive bys long before the black community.
And the germans? It took 2 world wars to get them to assimilate. In all three cases it took litteral generations of work to get them to fully assimulate into american culture with lots of growing pains in between that.
Every immigrant group, including "whites", if allowed to concentrate and take over a a part of America though numbers, became exploitative and corrupt. The Irish machine in Boston was sending U.S. tax money to foreign terrorists into the 90s. None of the new immigrant groups, as bad as the Muslims in Michigan and Minnesota have gotten, have gotten anywhere near the level of corruption, rent seeking, graft, and ties to foreign enemies as the Boston Irish. Yet.

If you're worried about crime, then by all means suggest any police measures you can think of. But deporting millions of honest, productive people just for the sins of a minority is not acceptable.
Every time you let in an immigrant community your talking about a 70 to 90 year process to create fully assimulated people on the end of that process. This is kind of a big ask and when people come illegally their not even bothering to ask which is kind of a dick move.

I don't care. I just want them to work where they're needed to and obey any laws they're ordered to. For all I care, they could make their own little enclaves where they eat ethnic food and watch foreign soaps.
Except what happens is they commit crimes, start gangs, don't work, get put onto our welfare systems, and when democrats get away with it, end up with social security numbers and find ways to vote in elections.
All while reducing our wages because those who do work are often paid under the table for very little money.
All so you can save a few cents on produce.
counterpoint. Deport all criminal aliens as per the law of the land. this is an 80/20 issue. the Walmart Americans don't care anymore.

Sure, go ahead. But we both know you are all for deporting hard working, law abiding people as well, and get genuinely angered every time it's pointed out.
cool story but criminal aliens are criminal aliens and their commission of other crimes is not required to deport them. pretending that just because they are hard working and not committing other crimes means they get a pass is silly. I also doubt that they are disproportionally not criminal. the fake ids alone have created a big criminal industry to give them such. other times they just use stolen IDs which fucks over citizens here. they are a drain on our infrastructure and get disproportionate welfare. in addition they have negligible tax contributions.
Illegal Aliens are not good for us. they are not good for our society. They are not good for our economy. and putting people in that situation is bad for them.

If you had actual facts, you might have a point.
But you are literally a meme-tier economist. One respected figure said a thing 30+ years ago, and that's basically your entire position, even though you ignore the other things he had to say on the issue.
Welfare states ruin the economic benefits of migration. That illegal immigrants also get access to the welfare state is even worse. That you ignore these issues that destroy the economic gains migration can give under better circumstances is due to your own willful blindness, not because other people are somehow idiots for being aware of them.
