Meme Thread for Both Posting and Discussing Memes

Zyobot

Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.
I’m not so sure it’ll just be memes this time.

Sadly, I'm tempted to agree.

To quote myself from a post I made last month:

There were a fuck ton of very horrible riots during the late 60s or the civil rights movement. Watts and LA come to mind, and the 70s and 80s were a rough time for american cities with new york expecially being an example.

Gulliani actually was able to clean up the city, but New Yorkers fucking hated it, no seriously they Fucking hated it I cant understate how many new yorkers I talked to hated the fact that the city was cleaner, safer and more prosperious.

New yorkers are just a different breed if there isn't a chance they will be stabbed to death their not happy.

You know, Harry Potter elves want to be slaves, Mass Effect Asari are only attracted to species that they can make extinct through demographic replacement, Care4Calais employees want to be the focus of a migrant worker orgies, New Yorkers want the rush of risking being stabbed.

Xeno-psychology is a wacky thing, with each new entry the claims of conspiracy theorists about the Earth having been infiltrated by reptilians, and other less savory sorts, become more plausible.

Huge cities do tend to breed a type of people very different from elsewhere.
My pet theory on the subject: due to the pace of life being way too fast there, and the overcrowding, they don't form any deep friendships or long-term relationships, but simply use other people for what they can get out of them. Everything becomes superficial and transactional.
And one recurring characteristics of sociopaths is thrill-seeking.

Something I've noticed for a while... people on the internet who seems to see it as their business to hijack every possible topic and make it be all about Jews. Jews, Jews, Jews. They have Jews on the brain, and won't rest unless they can infect everyone else with it.

One low-effort form of this is for them to take cartoons and memes produced by other people, and crudely swap one of the characters with Happy Merchant.

As an example of this, here's the original version of the meme:

Emo girl would go back to meet her grandmother. Bearded Man would go back and prevent the Atlantic Slave Trade.
I suppose if you're going to mess with continuity by going and interacting with people in the past.. why not think big about it?
Pretty cool meme, anyway.

And then here's a more recent "Jewly improved" version...

So it was them all along? Or so whoever edited someone else's picture would have us believe...

I have a list of theories as to the possible motives behind this sort of thing.
