I will again bring up Snowden and what he revealed was going on, and put forward this as proof of the NSA still being unchecked in violating the rights of Americans, yet for some reason people hate Snowden for showing this to us, and a surprisingly small amount of people seem to care that the NSA is just spying on everyone.
Because Snowden didn't do the proper channels, and didn't even fucking try to. He leaked info taken out of context, and then tried to sell information that pertained to sensitive shit that allowed our enemies to get around us.
Everyone that knows what he did outside of the civilian side hates the guy.
Also, that chick committed massive amounts if criminal charges. They specifically give you what can and can't get you arrested. She broke every single get you arrested rule

If he followed "proper channels," none of us would even know who Snowden is, because he'd be sitting in a CIA black site, and none of us would know about any of the corruption he exposed.
"Proper channels," are so the government can prevent the information from getting out. That's it. He knows it, everyone knows it.
He could have went to a congressman. Because if he gets retaliation those who did that can lose their position to getting comepltly fired.
You obviously don't know what he can and couldn't do because you have not done your reasearch.
And you wonder why people don't ever go through the proper channels.
Proper channels are intended to stop sensitive information from getting to the public.
His goal was to get sensitive information to the public.
Proper channels would have stopped this. They are not conducive to his goals.

Information taken out of context. Proper channels is there to make sure the rules are being followed. If what he saw was rules being broken, which is what he claimed, the proper channels would take care of it.

Running to people who already know about it, isn't going to help him achieve his goals.

THis is the issue. Yall are Ignorant. Because you aren't willing to think "Maybe he was wrong. Maybe he didn't know as much as he thought." I have more training then he did, and I am enlisted in the Army. The whole thing he leaked, was a nothing burger that he would have had explained to him if he went through the proper channels, but if he felt it was more then the normal context, it would have gone up and he would be declared a whistleblower.
AGain, I am done, because an argument one can not defend, is an argument one should not be in.
