With gas prices being what they currently are my daughters decided to carpool ... and let one of their two sit for a month (completely draining the battery, BTW). Princess did the jumpstart and the car alarm going off when she got the jumper cables connected woke me up from a nap.
They got a "talking to" from me about lead-acid batteries and the dangers of sulphuric acid.

It wasn't always drek. At one point, it was a mixture of decent military sci-fi and soap opera drek. After the writers strike, it turned into almost purely soap opera drek.
So not that much has to fall into the ocean actually.
