Their videos are pretty damn amazing, which makes the fact they take Antichrist money a shame. At least there is some hope in the fact they tend to 90% apolitical so it isn't as much of a issue as could be. If they were the types to put out videos about society or politics often then the slant would affect the quality hard.

Wait, you only realized that now?

It was pretty appearent to me after watching about 2 episodes.
Well it wasn't apparent to me; though I think that may be because I overlooked their more egregious videos, and focused on what aligned with what I already believed. Confirmation bias is a thing that exists, sadly.

Not only that, their primary source for much of their data is also funded by the same people they are.

Really if you want to capture carbon, grow trees, cut them down, and then bury them. You don't need to use (powered) machines to draw it from the air to turn into bricks. Fucking stupid Bill Gates.
Imagine if you will that there are two options standing before you. One of these options helps the environment cheaply and the financial benefits would go to millions of poor and middle-class rural landowners. The other funnels vast amounts of cash to the already super-rich urbanites and hoses the middle class. Which one do you see the super-rich urbanites encouraging?

Or trap it as calcium carbonate.

We have more calcium than we know what to do with, and bonding it with carbon is a good way to lock that carbon down long term.

If we wanted to we could literally ship, or with a sufficiently large gun shoot, blocks of articifical calcium carbonate to Mars as feedstocks for colonies or just to get them out of the eco-sphere.

Or just dump them in deep water where they won't break down due to the anoxic environment on the sea floor.

And carbon dioxide is kinda fantastic for plants and plant growth.

The lie that carbon dioxide is a pollutant and needs to be limited is one of the greatest cons ever.

Like... the planet has been covered in ice and had pole to pole tropical forests at different times.

It's all nonsense.

Focus on managing local or human stuff. Like plastics in the ocean or bad land management. China and India killing rivers with industrial waste and garbage. Over fishing and conservation.

None of the world is ending nonsense where all roads lead to the rich controlling everything or socialism.

Huh apparently Fox News Morning Shows Beat Out CNN Morning Shows.

And by Morning Shows I mean re-runs of Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity airing at 1AM & 2AM in the middle of the night garner better ratings then CNN Shows in the actual morning when people are awake and actually presumably watching the television. They also beat out Anderson Cooper 360... Awww.... poor guy.

while I had a good laugh the thing is CNN basically wreaked their legitimacy over the last two years.
