I just came here after checking that. Yikes. Some real interesting takes there. But I for one am really glad it went this way. I expected it especially since the prosecution were soooo bad. That look on his face when the not guilty verdicts were coming out was heartbreaking.

ACLU these days are little more than a legal courtroom variant of a mercenary/PMC outfit, only with briefcases.

All this said, I would advise EVERYONE in the US to take safe precautions, make sure you have essentials, be read up and aware of what laws of self defense apply to what city/state you live in, and if you do possess firearms, do a full check and ammo count.

It's not exactly against the rules. That's pretty much what I'd expect any delusional leftist partisan to say, SB/SV are full of said partisans, so not surprising. Anything more specific should go in the dedicated thread.


That reaction is such an immensely dumb take. Even if once accepts the premise that Rittenhouse is guilty, it changes nothing. It's not like the concept of falsely claiming self defense after an unjustified shooting in any way a new phenomenon, people have been doing it for ages. If there were hordes of wannabe right wing death squads searching for an excuse to riddle a leftist protest with bullets, then they would have acted by now, they didn't need a case like this to give them the go ahead, they would have just done it by now.
