So why the delays over the JFK files, or the Pentagon trying to deny vets treatment for Agent Orange/Agent Pruple exposure during Vietnam for years? Or how about all the files relating to the 'The Fast and the Furious' operation that gave cartels guns, or the times the CIA used the drug trade in the US to fund black ops, while also hurting demographics for political/racial reasons.
You also forget that the nice thing about classified stuff is that OSHA and the EPA cannot hassle groups over unsafe working conditions or egregious environmental pollution. I mean shit, half the reason Area 51 is so classified is because they've dumped so much toxic waste on the base during secret program, it was making soldiers and contractors sick without them being able to get compensation for it, because it was hidden behind a wall of classified stamps.
The US military has used 'classified' status to hide things that would cost careers and cause public uproars if it came out, and usually it is only when people decide 'fuck classified, justice/the Constitution is more important' that shit gets aired out.
You keep making the same sorts of arguments, then keep ducking out of them, because you still naively think people are not aware of a lot of the misdeeds and maleficence of the military and intel community.
That they are denying the videos to the defense team, and that the only way we even know any of this is because of a leak to Human Events, is a wonderful example of how the intel agencies see themselves as above the law and Constitutional processes.
