City laws are often to make sure that the people of the city get what they want to have.
If a city wants to say, have a law that enforces no parking down main street ti make sure it doesn't get people run over.

The more laws that exist, the easier it is to crack down on dissidents. If you have mountains of laws that are constantly broken but seldom enforced, then it’s easy to selectively enforce them against your enemies.
Why should benefit of the doubt be given to a governmental system that has consistently shown they do not deserve it?

One of the Capitol Protestors has been acquitted of a single count of obstruction by a Federal Judge who apparently commented that Joshua Black possessed "a unique stew in his mind."
Sadly he's still facing like five other charges... I guess you can only be so unique to dismiss one charge... not all charges for some reason.

I only saw a clip on Tim Pool but it looked like the security giving tours, unlocking doors, escorting people around and such.
No wonder they tried to hide the footage.
There are going to be so many lawsuits. And hopefully arrests.
Hiding exculpatory evidence while charging them...

I told people it was a fucking setup. You had footage of cops removing barriers and waving protesters in, basically the same day it happened. There is a solid case to be made here that most of these people were clueless victims of entrapment.

Believing that anyone involved in this higher than the lowest rung (if that) will see any sort of consequences lol. How many people were on the committee? Do you think it is actually possible to bring a power bloc that powerful to any sort of "peaceful" justice? When republicucks are too scared to do jack shit and always willing to back down to "keep the peace".
