OK, consider this to be an official statement from the Boot.
First, off topic much? Alex Jones stuff goes in the *drumroll please* Alex Jones thread.
Second. When accusing people of holding an extremist ideology you need to document it and show the receipts, and said receipts do not include partisan sources that refer to anybody who disagrees with the left in anyway as literal Nazis or anybody affiliated with the Left of being pederasts or Stalinists. If you cannot show unambiguous evidence that something is, in fact, part of a truly extremist ideology, then accusing them of that is against our rules. This goes both ways, and must be supported by the actual statements of the user in question, not seven degrees of Kevin Bacon style guilt by association.
We try to generally allow people to settle their arguments themselves, and do not mind sharp elbows. Think of us as NASCAR, 'boys have at it' is a thing here. We do have guardrails and rules, but we try to enforce them with a light hand. Do not make us have to take the gloves off, you will not like it if that happens.
The Boot is making an executive decision to issue friendly warnings to all involved via this post. At this point, everybody has been warned of our expectations, and everybody is expected to known and understand them. Future instances of violation, by anybody against anybody, will be looked at with extreme disfavor.
The Boot has spoken, you may all admire the Boot's perfectly tied laces and exquisite shine now.
