Bud Light's Marketing Vice President who was apparently behind this inclusive sponsorship/marketing scheme, has been canned taking a leave of absence. Todd Allen (a CIS White Male) is replacing her during her "leave of absence." More men taking the jobs of Women. Sad.

Aside from the trans thing. Bud light VP explicitly admits they are:

1. explicitly and intentionally advertising to underaged audience. (people initially pointed out that the audience of the trans influence is age 14-17. in the statements by bud light VP she explicitly stated that yes, they are trying to reach a younger audience with their new message)

2. explicitly attempt to brainwash said audience with woke propaganda.

3. hate their customers.

4. a hypocrite. she calls her customers "fratty". yet people posted pictures showing her in parties drinking liquor shots out of condoms.

Nobody is impressed with this limp-wristed response so far. Predictions are generally running that this will trigger the lefties for not affirming the trans side, and it's not remotely enough to satisfy the right.
I'm sure there are leftists out there itching to prove me wrong, but I can't imagine why that prediction would come true because of this letter. It doesn't so much as hint at a course correction. It mostly just comes off as "Why are you being so mean to me?"

By the same token, of course, it will do exactly nothing to put out the fire. But speaking of course corrections...
Looks like Bud Lite is getting rid of everyone involved with their marketing scandal.
Sorry, I didn't watch the video. Does this news have reliable sources? Even aside from the hilarious Twitter imposter plague, I wouldn't trust even an official Twitter handle not to occasionally vomit hyperbole as a "joke" without more knowledge of how that specific account is usually handled. I do see news indicating that the marketing VP directly responsible seems to at the very least have been shuffled to a different position.
Donald Trump Jr. Wants you to stop boycotting bud light
I heard this was motivated by AB being a significant Republican donor.

Looks like things are nose diving again, most right-wing people didn't accept AB half-baked apology for dragging gender identity politics into their face and now left-wing people are demanding AB reafirm their support for Mulvaney resulting is even more market lose.

Bud Light sales nosedive as Anheuser-Busch is asked to reaffirm Dylan Mulvaney support

I hope they are happy with this sh*t show the have created they are damned if they do, damned if they don't. This is why you don't drag hot button social issues into companies that are historically apathetic to them, for God sakes if Goldberg is right about one thing it's that beer is always supposed to be bipartisan.

Yes! This commercial makes me want to lead the Riders of Rohan into battle and Liberate Iran or Portland or something.

Oh it's a beer commercial?

Looks like they defaulted to Marketing to Red States based on Stereotypes!

They also put $20 rebates on their 24 packs. it looks to be settling at a 27% loss for the brand and about half that carrying over to the other brands owned by the parent company. there has also been an about 20% raise in their competition. meaning people didn't quit drinking they just changed brands. heck they bought more from the competition to find which ones they preferred. this represents a likely permanent loss in market share for them. they used to be #1 brand in the light beer market. now they are on sale and put in priority sale positions in the stores.

Yeah, mass market beers aren't all THAT different. Bud light was just big because of name recognition. It's zero effort to stay switched.

A good chunk of this will be a permanent loss.

And its looking like this boycott is turning out to be a huge success so far. I'll gladly admit I was wrong up thread.

Gonna be interesting to see the reports for other AB Inbev brands as well. My family never touched Bud Light in the first place, but my parents have been avoiding Shock Top, St Pauli Girl, and Stella Artois since these shenanigans started. And my brother used to favor Wicked Weed, but there are so many other options for IPAs nowadays...

The great irony is that this has just driven us all to drink more Yuengling here in the Deep South, when we never did growing up in Pennsyltucky...

from what I have seen about half of the people dropping bud light are dropping all of the inbev brands. so I would be expecting about that. considering how hard they are pushing these sales and rebates they will likely see a bump in product being moved in the near term even if they are selling at a loss. they will then claim that that is a sign the boycott is over.
