Business & Finance Great Bud Light Embargo of 2023

Yep. Gotta focus on a couple targets.

This month I wouldn't expect much progress on the boycott front. We can't successfully boycott everything to the levels of Bud Light and Target. There's just too many targets - the overwhelming majority of corporate America will be partaking in Pride month.

Don't let pride month make us lose focus.
Lords already said it go one at a time. The only problem is there is no conservative leader or council to decide where to strike. So some will say chick fil an others will go for something else. But it’s good everyone is in agreement with fucking over bud light.

I am thinking the right may be stretching itself too much, they shouldn't be attacking everyone with a rainbow flag they should stick to attacking Budweiser, the embargo is working so well because a majority of their drinkers are lower-middle class American men who don't want gender identity politics being perpetuated by a company that can have no other business around them other than virtue signaling.

I mean some people are attacking Target now and I have to ask how they are supposed to emulate the same measure of success? Every Target I have been too are literally the definition of 'modern' and 'hip' with locations only in larger cities.

People should just stick to driving Bud into the ground to make an example of them so they will become a cautionary tale in business and that would do more to stop 'virtue signaling' where it isn't remotely necessary or needed.

There is no single leader but if people like Matt Walsh point out targets, and that gets shared around, that can direct a lot of focus onto a couple companies.

I don't see why not to aim for both. Much beyond that might be a stretch. But these are bith very different companies with different products, so boycotting each isn't a bad idea.

Additionally, for the very reasons you describe is why i think they should aim for target. Show even a progressive company like them that they can be taken down a peg.

And like Walsh has pointed out, it's a different demographic. Conservative men took down Bud Light. Now it's time for Conservative women to be heard with target.

The Target and Bud Light embargoes are working simultaneously because different segments of the population consume their products.

Bud Light got it because they alienated the working-class man population. Target alienated the middle-class moms who were their primary customers.

Hitting Bud Light and Miller would probably stretch things too thin. The embargo only works as long as there's a reasonably similar non-woke company available to purchase from instead.

I would just caution folks about the possibility these folks are pushing this in these sorts of companies now, specifically to tank them/their value, for their own ends, by using known lever points that the Right and moderates are sensitive to.

Boycotts work as limited, specific campaigns against specific actions by specific companies that cross specific lines.

Trying to boycott anything that has even flown a rainbow flag just feeds the Left's propaganda about a lot of the Right wanting to shove non-hetero's back into the closet, or grave, as whole in backlash.

The idea of 'cause-month' as a whole is the real issue, as Morgan Freeman so eloquently pointed out in that one video.

I actually don't find the lefts propaganda all that compelling anymore. They have gotten so self righteous that they remind me of the cringe ass right wing moral guardians back the day.

I mean, I feel the same for the most part, but I know it works on a lot of folks who only watch what's on mainstream news and view 'conservative' as a 4 letter word.

My wife would start calling the right monsters more so then after the whole Aborion stuff if we go after all stuff that has flown pride

Anheuser-Busch is now selling off some of their brands to try to stay afloat...

“The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.”

I don't think it really works on anyone, no one likes being preached at in my experience and that is exactly what the left does now. They preach holier than thou bullshit.

Unless said people are part of the groups that have done preaching before for the Left, and those who do not find 'progressive' or 'liberal' to be negative political connotations.

Some also do not see what the Left does as 'preach', instead of 'educate' or 'engage in activism', and approve of it.

Like, I don't think the Left is suffering that much of a 'message failure' among their target demo's, and the Dems are fine writing off moderates who vote Red, because they can be used as examples of why the elite need to curtail GOP power/speech/politics.

Here is the thing about that, Outside of their current crop of core believers they aren't winning anyone new over and because they are in a perpetual purity spiral they are constantly losing people. The bulk of people who actually vote for democrats are those idiots who still think it's Bill Clinton style democrats because they dont really pay any attention. If those people really looked into things they would be appalled. The other big group of democrat voters are parasites who just think it means they'll get free shit.

She definitely buys into leftists points bit draws a hard line at allowing Trans to replace women and in sports. As well as MAPs as she had an unfortunate younger life.
Ah, she doesn't want dudes in dresses and wigs beating women in their own events, or going into their bathrooms, or even their prisons? She be a heretic to the Left, then.
