Or the other problem of "Ain't part of the tribe get a 9mm to the chest. At least I don't have to ritually sexually assault someone or slit someone's throat to be a citizen of the US. (Yet, let's hope it never gets that far.) you ought to read about some of these gang initiation rituals.
I was thinking of more Yakuzza or Mafia instead of Ghetto trash.

I mean your argument could be used to indict all nation states by pointing at the actions of the Khmer Rouge, or Soviets, or China under Mao. When most nations are normal like the U.S. or France, or Ancient Rome, or Greece.

Is this even news?

You'd get a ton of street cred for killing the guy who killed George Floyd - he's obviously got a massive target on his back in prison.

Like Dahmer, Chauvin's days are numbered. Honestly I don't see him leaving prison alive.

If only Prison had something like "Protective Custody" where they could keep all of those celebrity felons safe. 😞

But yeah I was "surprised" he wasn't in some sort of protective custody to protect him from such reputational attempts on his livelihood.

Apparently he's expected to survive but was seriously injured in the stabbing.

granted not an initation ritual but look up the Yubitsume ritual sometime.

Most gangs are like Khmer Rouge, or Soviets, or China under Mao is the thing. Heck even the best of gangs are like middle to upper end 3rd world warlord nations and the worst. Well...are like the worst of the third world. You're better off living in an isolated community at that point.

Yeah? It's a punishment for those who fail. There are many historical nations that punished those who were reckless and caused problems. Finger cutting comes from a time when people used swords and well your fingers are pretty useful for holding a sword. So if someone was very reckless and independent and did something like get in a fight when they shouldn't, they did that because it would make them less good fighters that way they would have to rely on their comrades more.

Umm the Khmer Rouge are pretty unique and wanted to destroy everything before them. Most nations are again like the Romans just interested in power and looting others, again just like gangs. Some are worse than other, yet some gangs actually have the respect and friendship of the ethnic groups they are from. Obviously the gang works for it's own benefit but that doesen't mean non members who are part of the ethnic group like Italians in the 1900's did not get real protection or something.

All I'm saying is be careful what you wish for. I don't you'd last in a 3rd world I don't think any of us would and I'd rather not encourage it.

I don't want us to be a 3rd world. WTF? Who wants chaos? No this is just us saying don't be overly grateful to police or military. They do a job, someone has to do it. But recently they've been simping for the left. So not being grateful isn't that big of a deal.

Ideally id love to go back to rural communities and tribes, but so long as we are stuck in the decadence that is urban empires Frankly I am grateful for police because I've seen what happens without them.

I mean eventually someone will become the police because people don't want random rapes, murders, and robberies. It's just that gangs fight amonst themselves which are basically mini wars like normal countries do. If one gang got supremacy then there would be order.

Can you elaborate please?

For decades hell for generations the right supported police officers often blindly.

When they needed new equipment, when they needed more pay, when they needed more training, when they needed protection from legal fuck ups. Way back to the days of the great depression this support has been there, but during the Floyde riots the cops as a collective stabbed us all in the back.

Police and government forces are willing to obey the left for their paychecks and they don't show favoritism or support for the right. Who do you think puts people in jail for violating mask mandates, or the right wing protestors, or let the left do all crimes without stopping them.

This guy says it better if their going to act like mercenaries then treat them as such, maybe its best to replace them with security companies at least when a security company completely shits the best you can fire them and get some one better.

Not sure about the whole "replace with mercenaries" thing, but there is one positive thing about mercenaries: They know that if they don't do their jobs to the contracted letter, they won't get paid and their reputation would suffer, meaning it'd impact their business later on as prospective new clients may skip them for such a blemish.

Of course there are downsides, and there are too many examples in history and modern times to list, but money definitely motivates people to get the job done.

As a contract security guy, it would be great for my business.

On the other hand people in my line of work are loyal to our paychecks and not much else. Ain't no dedication to higher ideals in contract security.

Supporting the police is common sense. As much as they have been crippled by silly progressive nonsense, that is a top down problem. The job‘s pretty thankless so most of the people doing it genuinely want to help their community. It would be much much worse without them.

Make enough examples of the higher ups and the two tier policing stops very quickly.

Not really? FFS, if there's one thing to know is that cops are not a collective. They have separate state/city hierarchies. We absolutely should not support them as a collective, some states/cities have full on democrat enforcers, but you can't blame rural sheriffs in Arizona who refuse to serve gun grabbers for what democrat servants in Chicago do.

Um some Police Departmets are corrupt as hell. Google some of the things The Chicago PD, New Orleans PD and LAPD have been caught doing. Blind support is unwise.

I get that we don't want complete lawlessness but still. police got issues. defunding them isn't the answer but neither is letting the left use them to enforce their laws selectively. shit sucks. only 2 times I've been in a cop car they drove me to work after my car broke down and drove me home after a car accident where I rear ended a semi. I wish more people had those sorts of interactions with police. living in rural bumfuck has some advantages at least. when the BLM protesters tried to do something it was just like 6 people in library square getting ignored.

This. The reason progressives have gotten away with this, and it's went this far, is that tons of police really are pricks and treat the average citizen like shit. Just about everyone has had a bad experience where a cop used his authority to belittle them because he knew there was zero recourse, and I mean people who weren't committing a crime or even being stopped for something they did. Sure not all cops are like this, but people tend to remember the bad and forget the good.

Those of us who support taxpayer-funded social programs should be especially hard on these fucks, because idk about you but I don't want my taxes going toward corrupt bureaucratic fuckwits
