Its kind of sad because Bethesda is really god damned lazy (and political correctness infected the world around about FO3's time), so we can't get midgets despite them being a staple of post apocalyptic fictions (like Mad Max) and making a heck of a lot of sense because radiation stunts growth.

Considering the problems with DRMs and how some games release nowadays I wouldn't be surprised IF there's a study where they comment on how many people stick with a console rather than a gaming computer or laptop.
The investment on a console is at a maximum 500/600/700 and in lots of countries in Western Europe you have a guarantee in some shop that if said console breaks or bricks or whatever you can return it for a brand new (as long as, well, you are not the one who caused the console to go kaput).
Gaming PCs also have the problem of physical space, which consoles generally don't have to the same amount. Then setups and I COULD GOOO ON.

Well I get your comment...but usually in my case, consoles are in the living room, and you take turns using the television.

I like Horror Games. More to watch then play but like them nonetheless. Alan Wake II is apparently a thing. First news released about the sequel to 2010's Alan Wake in over a year. And the news released is that Remedy Entertainment is planning on releasing it in October of this year...
