Brings back so many memories.
People rave about Planetary Annihilation and such, and while it did introduce mechanics like interplanetary warfare, it was like playing with Lego bricks on small maps that were supposed to be entire worlds... as in dozens of TA-like maps.
Supreme Commander 1 was a great spiritual successor and scratched the itch; shame 2 sucked.

Yeah I don't really know much about the Armored Core franchise beyond knowing its a bit of a meme since it was made by the same people who made all of the Soulsborne games. It's super neat that they're coming out with a new Armored Core game though even amidst all of the popularity of the Soulsborne style genre of games.
I wish other game developers would properly visit their old abandoned properties and make good new games to continue the saga. This includes mecha games... LIKE TITANFALL!!!!
