Your arguments can hold merit for criminals who are sex offenders rapists and such you could house them separately but again most criminals aren't rapists.

Also I never brought up homosexual rape being worse because of sin. There is a perfectly logical secular reason on why gay rape is worse than straight rape. It's pretty easy to spot, I don't know why people are too dumb to see it.

I obviously can't prove it one way or another because there isn't a unisex prison that we can point too and say "see look when we do this it fails!" Like we can with communism where it fails again and again.

Now you can say that it is a bad idea and then try to argue it say "oh rape would happen!" but the truth is we are both working with hypotheticals since we are saying "if a happens then b" but again that is us saying what WOULD happen not what has happened in the past when this policy was implemented since it hasn't been implemented in any first world nation. Since neither of us are prophets we can't just claim to know the future we have to argue WHY we think something would happen.

In male-only prisons, there is at least a nominal capacity for men to protect themselves from other inmates. Obviously some are still going to be bigger and stronger than the others, but in a mixed-gender prison you're going to have a guarantee that almost all of the women are weaker than almost all of the men.

Basic cognition and basic experience in the world as an adult is all that you need in order to be able to predict this outcome. Except you are ignoring the fact that those two percent won’t have free rein to do anything they want. Both the guards AND other prisoners would stop and punish them. If you really are worried about bigger and stronger people taking advantage of weaker ones then we should have prisons segregated by size so heavy weights won’t be with light and medium weights.

Sure, in a decently run prison, guards try to do that, and prisoners try to enforce their own order.

But prisons are not spherical cows. What people try to do in theory, does not work out exactly as they'd like in practice.

Something that, again, only takes basic cognition to understand. If you were actually a conservative, the law of unintended consequences, and the fact that theory never perfectly maps onto reality, would both be things you were already well aware of.

But again, maybe you are, and you're just deliberately ignoring them to troll people.

Are there now? How many of them? What total number of assaults have happened in them? And where have building codes allowed for them? You need to be able to throw down some numbers here, because you're using the existence of these bathrooms as proof that assaults won't increase in co-ed bathrooms, but if they're very rare that can't be used as any kind of evidence that unisex bathrooms are safe.

And believe me, they're very rare. They were pretty much illegal until the 2020s and so no older buildings have such multi-stall unisex bathrooms, and there hasn't exactly been a rash of massive construction projects in the last year so I'm betting you have no data whatsoever and even if you do, said multistall unisex bathrooms are so ridiculously rare they disappear into rounding errors when looking at violent crime.
