Technology Elon Musk: The Worlds Richest Man

That doesn't mean that they are not political, and Twitter is the breeding ground for much of the alleged literati upperclass policymakres and the SJWs.
Everything is political, but the judges are about the least political thing related to government we got in America. And they aren't going to do this. Please, stop swallowing the black pills. Especially not the dumb ones.
The US Banksters and Hedgies have had massive influence over the US government for decades, usually so that they can socialize losses and privatize profits, and engage in quid pro quo whenever necessary.
Yes, but your belief that they'll work against long term interests on this is just not correct. They have a vested interest in allowing deals like this to happen, they aren't going to stop it (not that they could: Judges with lifetime appointments don't give a shit about such influence).

Also, Musk pledging about 50 billion worth of Tesla Stock for this whole deal is, IMHO not a good thing for Tesla stock prices, if he gets a margin call that will basically force him to dump the stock and by now I doubt anyone is insane enough to buy it at such massive prices.
He didn't pledge $50B of Tesla stock. He pledged $12.5B.
Passive investments should, IMHO be passive, with whoever packages them not having any say how the companies are run, Index funds, especially ones the size of Vanguard and BlackRock have no skin in the game where one or two specific companies are concerned, they also have neither the legitimacy nor the in dept knowledge of the particular business they should have in order to interfere.
This, I'd be fine with.
I wasn't clear enough. I think they should break off the operations that our Governmental tasking essentially so that their private shareholders aren't exposed to the risk of government assets as well. This is an effort to minimize the threat of 'too big to fail' nonsense that always results from this kind of activity.
I don't know what you mean by the bolded part.

Um, federal and supreme court judges have been pretty political, like when they blocked a bunch of things Trump wanted, and let us not forget the circus that were the appointments of the last 3 scotus judges as well as the fact that the latest addition is a politically-driven affirmative action hack.

Um, no, a great deal of that wasn't politics, more Trump asking for stupid things (like blocking twitter users when you make policy announcements via twitter) or technicalities. Also, they backed him on a number of things too. And even when they are political, they aren't influenced by monetary gain, unlike politicians. Benefits of having lifetime job security.

As for the appointments, that's the politicians being political, the judges weren't. I'm not even going to blame Jackson here, she didn't choose to get chosen for a bullshit reason.

Mostly your SCOTUS votes along party lines IIRC.

Anyway, here is Razorfist's take on the effects of the purchase on the left:

All of the torches-and-pitchforks screaming in that would give someone who has never heard of Elon Musk the impression that he's up there with the likes of <<insert genocidal war criminal if your choice here>> in terms of being evil.
Imagine if aliens tried to infiltrate Earth solely based on our media, Social Media in particular.

Imagine having more or less a monopoly on the public square being able to fuck over anyone you dislike or just because you feel like it. Now imagine losing some of that power.

Yeah that's going to hurt because deep down inside after doing that for years your deeply afraid of the punishment you deserve.

There's something funny about how salty even the posters of QQ get about Elon Musk. Like, they claim Musk is a hack who can't do anything right and the only reason he succeeded with anything is because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and his endeavours being carried by those who are better than him.

Sounds to me like the incel nerd seething at high school over how no one acknowledges his archivements and everyone only cares about the jocks and the charismatic guys.
Musk has underdelivered on a bunch of things like the Tesla autopilot.
Tesla became as big as it is because of hype and carbon credits and government mandates.
He is a massively overblown and a snake oil salesman, IMO.
