We simply cannot spend the next twenty years in a highly occupation the same measures we use here is basically what we can expect to use for many Drac planets. They sent the fanatics out here it appears and our nation doesn't have a fraction of the necessary numbers to play planetary peacekeepers.

I am distinctly unamused by this vote. Let me ask all of you this. We are (presumably) planning on annexing Nowa Warszawa in the medium to long-term. In that context, why are any of you supporting a course of action that will lead to NW being "The Troubles 2: Electric Boogaloo" and then some. We need civil peace to achieve that, not perpetuating violence and hate of our own accord.

Alright then explain to me your plan for reconciliation. What master piece of diplomacy do you have that will convince people that have been ground down and killed for decades, so much so they have become a minority on their own planet, to forgive their oppressors? Or are you just hoping a high roll will solve all problems?

Haven't we said, over and over, that we believe in the rule of law and doing the right thing over the easy thing? We can make it clear to the Poles that no Drac will escape investigation and prosecution for actual crimes committed, and I believe we're morally justified in following the precedent of Nuremburg and prosecuting them *regardless* of the technical legality of their actions under their own laws. But that is as far as I can agree to bend to expediency.
